Love this, but could have a couple fixes
I am new to crocheting, but know the US terminology pretty well at this point. I am working on some crochet Christmas gifts for my family and I like a lot of patterns on YouTube so I wanted an app to help me translate those into a pdf I can follow with a row counter and I just finished my first pattern. I am in the process of completing the project and it has been super helpful! I love I can time myself to see how long the project takes me and it lets me set reminders if I want to change colors or work in only one side of the work. It would be nice if you could add materials beyond knitting/crochet needles and yarn since my pattern requires wire and a plastic needle for embroidery. It seems more setup to making clothing since I also had to specify a size for the project no matter the category I chose and had some difficulty figuring out how to make a project that wasn’t all 1 size in rows/columns since it is a crochet potted plant so it starts with a magic ring and varies. However, I did find a pattern from scratch and it is awesome! You can put different parts and then add your own text to put in comments (such as change in color) and row details. Also when I published my first project it asks if you want the pattern public or private and since I am using others patterns on YouTube I like that I can make them private so I don’t take credit for others work. Overall, I’m enjoying the app and deleted other apps I was trying to use for my goal since this accomplished it!

Love this app!
I really love this app. I make a lot of patterns and had them hand- written in a master notebook. Of course, somehow I lost that book so my daughter introduced me to Patternum, and it’s benn wonderful. It’s fairly easy to use for pattern creation and great for storing them where I won’t lose them. Easy to use for recall as well. I will be using it for all my patterns as I find them in older books so I won’t lose them again. Five stars!

Tolle App. Ich finde sie sehr hilfreich, nur leider stürzt sie jetzt ständig ab wenn ich ein Diagramm öffnen möchte.

I have just recently started to use this app and I think it’s ok. I like the yarn stash and you can create custom patterns and make others patterns. Overall i think it’s pretty good and you should give it a try!!

Ich finde die App sehr hilfreich um meine eigenen Designs zu kreieren. Dafür das sie kostenlos ist, ist sie wirklich sehr gut. Aber es gibt immer etwas was man noch verbessern könnte. Zum Beispiel wäre es sehr hilfreich , wenn man in den Diagrammen nachträglich noch Reihen und Spalten einfügen könnte, gerade wenn man ein Motiv aus einem Foto erstellt. Man die Zehnerschritte farblich markieren könnte. Es gibt leider keine Zeichen für größere Zöpfe. Es ist definitiv hilfreich, dass man das Motiv im Strick sehen kann, aber die Seitenverhältnisse sind nicht wirklich korrekt.

Crashes
Every time I try to edit a pattern, the app crashes. I was not able to access any of the tools to create a pattern rendering this app useless.

Apple is limited when it comes to crochet apps, this is better than most I’ve seen. I’d love English (US) as an option and it took me a minute to get used to but by exploring I found my way around! I had trouble with the TYPING SPACE too, here’s a work around: in edit content, add (or duplicate) a bunch of rows as “!” and save. Go to the “Preview” tab then select the row you want to edit, it’ll highlight yellow! You can edit the row number here too! Add or delete extra rows back in the edit content tab.

Annoyed
I really did want to like this app but it has one flaw that is literally unworkable. The keyboard covers up the text box and I literally cannot see what I’m writing so when I mistype something it’s really difficult to fix.
Can’t figure out how to use this!
I’ve seen this on UTube and heard of it in crochet groups but I am having difficulty comprehending how to make a photo into a crochet pattern.
Needs work
My biggest complaint is that I cannot set the settings to be in US terms. Also, once you add yarn to a Project, it doesn’t seem that you can take it off if you’ve made a mistake. In addition, the only materials that you’re able to list are hook size and yarn. If there are any other materials such as poly fill fiber, safety eyes, or anything else, there does not seem to be a way to add those in.

Not easy to Write Crochet designs on the fly
I downloaded this so I could have a centralized place to write down patterns as I made them, but I could not find a way to edit without giving exact numbers of rows the project has which I would not know until my project is finished. Deleted immediately since this was not what I was hoping for.

Only complaint is that the charts DESPERATELY need the ability to reverse the numbering of the rows.
Not user friendly
Not very forgiving or user friendly, you can’t edit certain thing and once you generate an update to an existing pattern you created you cannot see the update. Very frustrating
Eigentlich genau das, was ich gesucht habe, aber…
Nur leider klappt die Erstellung der Häkelschrift nicht so, wie ich mir das vorstelle. Hier mein Beispiel: ich zeichne eine Reihe feste Maschen und in der zweiten Reihe Stäbchen. Das Symbol für die Stäbchen ist so groß, dass die FM der ersten Reihe überschrieben werden. So ist das leider nicht zu gebrauchen 🥹.
Dann noch eine Anregung: würdet ihr eine Vorlage für Runde Häkelschriften basteln? Das wäre Top!

Metric system?
I really like the app but I wish it could be used in metric system (which the majority of the world uses) and maybe some other yarn weight system then only the American. If you can change the language of the app, why not include metric in the features?
