About

Pause is a simple idea: hold your phone as still as possible. Press play, hold the screen, and stay still for 20 seconds. That's it. No tutorials, no accounts, no clutter. Just you against your own stillness. While you play, watch your movement come alive as a live seismograph trace, the same kind of line you'd see on a heart monitor. Perfect stillness reads as a flatline. Any shake shows up as a spike. It's oddly satisfying, and a little tense. Your score rewards consistency, not luck. Sensor noise won't wreck a good run, and a truly still hold gets rewarded the way it should. Most players land in the 80s. Getting into the high 90s takes real control. A perfect 100 should almost never happen. After each run, see your percentile, check your personal best, and share a clean share card with your score and your trace. Challenge a friend to beat it. Play as a guest from the first launch. No account needed to play, track your best score, or see your run history. Sign in with Apple or Google only if you want to appear on the global leaderboard or keep your progress synced across devices. Your local scores and history move over automatically the moment you do. A full run takes under 30 seconds, so it fits in anywhere: waiting in line, on a break, or challenging a friend who thinks they can hold still better than you.
