What's New in Payback
5.2.2
June 27, 2026
This update makes Payback faster, clearer, and more reliable for everyday money tracking. You can now settle up with a person directly from their profile whenever there is a balance due. Whether they owe you or you owe them, Payback helps clear the right amount quickly, with support for full or partial settlements. Repeating bills, expenses, and deliveries now behave better after being paused and resumed. Payback starts again from the right date, so old paused items do not unexpectedly come back. Delivery tracking is more accurate and easier to trust. Delivery history now shows the right receipts, delivery balances stay separate from normal spending, and delivery totals no longer affect regular expense totals unless they should. Home and person balances are now more consistent across the app, especially around monthly totals, future expenses, shared expenses, and delivery-related amounts. Reminders and notifications are cleaner too. Payback now does a better job removing old alerts, keeping upcoming alerts accurate, and making sure reminders, bills, and deliveries stay up to date. Backups and restores are safer, especially for reminders and notifications after restoring on a new device. We also added better protection when creating a new entry, so you are warned before leaving a screen with unsaved work.
