Disappointed
I played Payday 2 for many years. Even had the original collector edition with the Dallas mask and other items. Downloaded this instantly.. complete the buggy tutorial... get stuck at end of tutorial.. exit app.. reopen.. now at main menu.. try to find game on crime net.. cant find players.. cant find a solo option.. so i sat looking for a lobby for thirty minutes.. then gave up and uninstalled.. Be realistic guys; this game isn't gonna have large enough a community to be playable only with other real players.. You NEED to make this solo playable.. I am disappointed in all of you that worked on this.. You clipped its wings before it could fly!

Had hope, now I’m gone.
I grinded this game because seeing this game having monthly seasons was very exciting. It’s a good sign to see monthly seasons because it means new content of some kind. I got to level 19 before season 2 started. A huge shame to see zero content. The first update was bad, but I had hope. Game has only been updated with cosmetics only since season ones disappointing update. Game does not deserve anything more than 3 stars. Payday port is impressive and the graphics look better than PS3 and 360, but everything this game has to offer is a shameful disappointment , and I haven’t mentioned any of the bugs. I won’t be coming back nor spending money on this game. 1 Star

Could be better
This could be a good game but right now I’m going to uninstall it takes forever to load anything and I’m ready to quit before even starting a match cause it’s boring just looking at loading screens for so long. The cops and bot partners seem to be buggy cops just stand in place and shoot or glitch into the floor bots just stand outside while you do the work and then come in last minute. The controls seem clunky and is awkward to shoot there needs to be one button for aiming and shooting instead of fumbling with two and the auto shoot is trash you get shot up before it even decides to shoot. I’m sure some of this will be fixed with patches may even revisit later but as it is now it’s just not worth my time.

Fun and great, but needs a LOT of work
Payday: crime war has been fun for me and satiated my thirst for a bit while waiting for payday3, but there are a few things that I would love to either be fixed or added.
Fix 1: LOCKPICKING——
Sometimes lock picking would pause and not pick locks on windows or doors, no matter how long I held the button, the door or window wouldn’t open, I could hold it down for minutes for nothing to happen.
Fix 2: SAFES——
My payday: Crime war safe experience has been bad as I have encountered a problem where no matter what, the safes I open have been only from one area instead of spread through the map making it almost impossible to obtain weapons from places like west end cause I’m stuck with crates from a different district.

There are some times when I just wanna slap someone through their phone because they fire an unsilenced gun and throw the stealth heist AND THEN LEAVE IN THE NEXT FEW SECONDS, I absolutely hate those unintelligent, odorous, slimy, pathetic players.
Add 2: OFFLINE LOBBIES——
One of the main reasons why I loved payday2 and the original payday: the heist is because I was able to play offline, and it really helped me get through the quarantine when I was in my shoddy old apartment with internet as fast as a snail with asthma.

Great game;awful crashes
I would love nothing more than to give this game five stars. I love payday and have played every single one, and will play any future titles. Needless to say I’m a fan and am more than happy to support this new endeavor; and what a great endeavor it is and can be! If it didn’t crash every five minutes. I would love nothing more than to play this game but it seems to not want me to play it. I don’t have these kinds of issues on my IPad with any other games that I play. I want nothing more than to spend more money than I have because I want to support y’all. But I just can’t seem to get this game to run for longer than five minutes. Maybe I get one game in before it crashes. Again to anyone reading this, it’s an awesome gameplay wise, but at this moment the crashes are preventing me from being able to recommend it at this time😔 I’m sure they’re working hard to get it up to speed though and I appreciate the effort the teams put in, it’s a great game.

Great Game! But Needs More Stuff In The Game
Please add akimbo weapons , rpg, grenade launcher, minigun, and more weapons, And add more mask plus make it where you open safes to have a chance to unlock a mask , customize-able masks too, and add where you telling all civilians or some guards to get down without holding the button on every civilian like in PD2, And make a Co-Op Multiplayer where you wait for real players to join full lobby and not bots.
And I love this game so much, I just want you devs to know what we need in this great game if you are going to add the things I said.

Glitch
The game was looking pretty good but after you beat the tutorial and move on to the home screen it says you can collect a new character for leveling up after I collected him I exited out of the game and when I came back in it told me to collect it again even though I already collected him so it stays stuck on the level progression screen

i love this series whole heart, but the game does crash a lot. wish there was a way to play solo/close lobbies as playing with other people online tends to break the game more often for me. the AI in this game is also noticeably more useless in comparison to the actual game, they get down very frequently and struggle to aide the player (but i'm not a game designer so take this with a grain of salt, just a personal opinion). it's also Very Difficult to level up, especially with the new update where you get battle pass points in every single vault you open.

Too much of a deviation from console versions
I want to love this game but it’s just not what I think all of the payday fans are looking for. I don’t like the damage numbers, the guns don’t feel great. It feels too much like a gimmicky rpg mobile shooter. There is no way to command police or citizens to give up/get down. The fps drops drastically whenever you get to a wide open space even after lowering graphics settings. Also, you can’t toss the loot bags more than like a foot. Just seems like this game was made by somebody who doesn’t understand what the fans love about payday 2. It has a resemblance but misses the mark.

Great game, needs polish in a few areas
I am a HUGE fan of the Payday franchise, and so when I heard of a mobile game I jumped at a chance to play it. I knew from the get-go that it would not be the same quality of gameplay as standard Payday, as to let it work for a mobile device, so standard was set. However, the RND of this game… it kills me. You can fail heists because RND doesn’t spawn enough cash, had this happen on four-stores. Also the inability to have solo servers, or choose servers like Payday 2 also tends to be a hindrance while trying to stealth a heist. Performance also needs some improvement, my game will lag occasionally, and the game crashes a bit too. I have no other complaints, it feels like Payday, from the atmosphere, to the music, and everything else. It just needs more polish in a few areas. I would highly recommend playing.

My Personal Opinion
I don’t usually rate games, but this I had to. The original PayDay games were brilliant and had such a feeling to them that no other game studio could ever achieve. This mobile game may not have that same exact feeling but that’s the point. You developers are trying your best to deliver an on a go PayDay experience and you are starting to achieve that. With maybe a few more control tweaks, slight overall improvements, and more content; I could see this being #1 on the gaming charts for the mobile industry. Good luck guys, keep up the great work!

A Pleasant Surprise
I gotta just start off by saying, I was entirely shocked that the game was nearly identical in terms of core gamelay to Payday 2. I was expecting a very rundown, more simplistic game, but I was greeted with the classic Harvest & Trustee Bank. Anyways, the game itself has no major flaws, there's a few things I'd like to add however:
1. Make guns account for concealment, huge thing from the main payday games so you can't go with a minigun and have minimum concealment cause you have just the suit on.
2. Solo heists, not really any explaining for this
3. Optimization, I am playing on an iPhone 11 and during assaults and when things are going on, the FPS can go from 40-60 to 10 and below. Shouldn't be happening and should be looked into.
Otherwise everything else is great! For being a nearly brand new release, it's much smoother than lots of other brand new experiences I've dealt with. Keep up the great work guys!

Payday In Your Pocket
Very pleasantly surprised with this! Last i’d heard of this game it was going to be purely pvp cops vs robbers, and now it’s genuinely Payday 2 mobile. And I love it! Balancing is good, character selection and weapon selection is good, safe opening time is very generous. Looking forward to the future of this game! Only minor complaint I have at the moment is it crashes a little too often for my taste, but that’s okay, this just released and it will be fixed with time. Great work so far, and I highly recommend anyone reading this to give it a shot

I like to see where this game can go.
Payday crime war is good, but it feels to easy. Another problem is that you can’t play a mission with just your friends so stealth is kinda impossible. We need private matches and a higher skill levels, add that would make the game perfect. Another thing that could help is the ability to customize at least one mask that every player gets. I have high hopes for this game.

Stealth accessibility?
This game is great, especially with the new 4 light bag/2 heavy bag carry system that is a major step up from payday 2.
However this game has no option to reasonably stealth, especially in multiplayer. This is caused by the lack of no multiplayer mode where you just que online with bots.
However if that’s not a option at least a option to publicly signal to other players that you wish to obtain the stealth bonus would go a long way.

2nd review
Ok. It’s getting so much better. The bugs that are needing fixed on my end. The zip ties won’t always work on the civilians. The fps even though I have it on low graphics and Jen it’s on 90fps it still lags and goes to 20fps. So the smoothness could still use work. Keep in mind it’s really hard to do what y’all are doing. Great wonderful product so far. Just more improvements and you’ll have people all lined up to play! Thanks!

Too Many Bugs and the game crashes way to much.
One of the bugs is that every now can see what you do even though they are inside of the actual map. I was trying to do stealth on jewelry store and when I went through the back exit and tied a person up, even though no window saw me bc I was by the dumpster, someone INSIDE THE ACTUAL JEWELRY STORE saw what I did even though they weren’t close to me not even a security camera. compared to the Payday 2 console game, this never happens. fix this bug so stealth is actually doable on every map and not on only Shadow Raid and Art Gallery. Another bug is that NPCs models sometimes stretch and the model no clips through the whole sky. like i said in the title, this game crashes way too much.

Great Concept, Needs More
I love the payday games and was ecstatic when crimewar officially released. I have been playing the game for a few days now and decided to write an honest review, let’s just say crimewar nails the payday feeling on mobile perfectly. I went in not expecting a payday 2 Mobile but more of a scaled back heisting on the go experience, I got what I came for in this regard. However actually sitting down and playing at home can get quite boring after a few hours. How I see it with a few more heists, fleshed out characters and skill trees, better less RNG unlock system, and just slightly reworked micro-transactions this could very well be a phenomenal mobile game and great payday game. In all I give this game a 8/10.

Better than most mobile games
Never seen an ad popup ever, and the only time you do see an ad is when you watch it for a reward that you can choose whether to get it or not. Game has an xp system that gives you motivation to keep playing, as well as barebones customization, different characters, different abilities, and a small variety of weapons to choose from. I’ve played the motherload out of PAYDAY 2, and to see that they turned it into a pretty fun mobile game (with no pop-up ads), I recommend this game to anyone who has time to spare on their phone.

Fun but likes to crash
The game runs perfect on iPhone 13 on high. The gameplay is fun though the game controls is off but you can fully change them. The negatives is the game likes to crash’s. Like expects crashes often like when you play modded payday 2 on pc. I haven’t really seen any major bugs beside collect the VIP card on bank heist even if you have collect the cash bags and at the end of the heist on victory or fail moment the animations become 1 fps but the gameplay is still the same. PvP is alright, it pretty easy to have one team gets the cash and just camp so it gets annoying. I think adding a offline mode will be a good idea to allow the game to be playable even the players online are low. Overall good game and better then the beta before pop reach.
