About

PayUp is the simplest way to keep track of who owes whom, right inside iMessage. Send a quick "you owe me $10" or "I paid you $20" in any conversation, and both sides stay perfectly in sync. WHY PAYUP? Splitting dinner, lending a $20, covering tickets. Money moves between friends all the time, and "didn't I pay you back already?" gets old fast. PayUp gives both of you a private shared ledger that lives right in your Messages thread. HOW IT WORKS • Open the PayUp app from the Messages drawer • Set your names (only takes a second; you can update them anytime) • Tap a preset amount or enter a custom one • Hit Send to make it real • The other person taps the message to agree or disagree • The ledger updates on both phones instantly THREE QUICK ACTIONS PAY. Money you sent. If you owe them, it's a payback. Otherwise they'll owe you. RECEIVE. Money you got. Tap "Balance" to clear what they owe you in one shot. REQUEST. Ask them for money. They tap to agree, which creates a debt they owe you. PLUS THE LEDGER A persistent button at the bottom of the screen opens the shared ledger: running balance, pending claims, and full history with names and dates. PRIVACY-FIRST PayUp stores everything locally on your device. No accounts. No servers. No tracking. Your ledger is yours. PERFECT FOR • Roommates splitting bills • Couples sharing expenses • Friends covering each other for dinner, drinks, and tickets • Parents and kids tracking allowance or loans • Anyone who's tired of "I'll Venmo you" and then forgetting HONEST TO THE PENNY Every transaction shows up in chat with the amount and a tap-to-respond message. The other side can agree or disagree, and the ledger respects what both of you confirmed. No surprises. Get PayUp and never wonder "wait, am I square with them?" again.
