apple tv app is buggy
played episodes remain in continue-watching list and the app always demands location if you click inadvertently on a live show. please fix these bugs - it's not a good user experience. also, if you can't get more than a single season of a show, why bother showing it at all?

I don’t know what happened to this app but I can’t get it to stream to my tv any more.

Since early September 2026, videos we haven’t watched start at the end and don’t let us scroll to the beginning.

The app is a poor experience - Masterpiece content isn’t clearly available and the search page doesn’t work
Not worth the money
Can’t login on fire TV can’t, watch any of the good nova episodes, can’t do anything that you used to be able to do on this app… absolutely not worth the money. PBS and Rocky Mountain PBS are not worth my time. Cancel passport.
App needs improvement
Love PBS but the app needs a lot of work. It’s extremely tedious to remove programs from “continue watching”. I hope your techies are working on it.

Glitchy
I absolutely love PBS and watch frequently, but I have to delete and reload the app several times a week.
Specifically, if I pause a show for more than a few minutes, when I try to resume it freezes and won’t allow me to continue. I’ll click out and try other shows and sometimes they’ll work, sometimes not. If not, I delete and relaunch the app in order to continue viewing.
This has been happening ever since I started using the app a few years ago. I don’t know why it took me this long to write a review about it. I just deal with it. This doesn’t happen with my other apps, so I know it’s not my TV, my AppleTV device or user error. Please fix it, thanks!

Heaven forbid I pause
Why in 2026 can I not pause in the middle of an episode of Downton Abbey and have the app save my spot? I can live with the repetitive ads, but the least you can do for making me sit through them over and over again is let me stop and start without having to scroll through and find where I left off.

Horrible app
Subscriptions are horrible on this app. Won’t let you sign up. Whoever designed the mechanics of the sign service apparently has never used the internet before. They also want to text you three times a month. To send spam is the reason why. Not to tell you about their app. Total BS. Disgusting.

Go back to original logo
Please bring back the previous, more neutral logo colors. I understand the appeal of red, white, and blue as a nod to American patriotism, but given that Congress recently cut federal funding for PBS, the color choice now feels tone-deaf, almost like celebrating an identity the government just abandoned. A neutral palette would better reflect PBS’s independence and its role as a trusted, non-partisan public resource, especially at a moment when that reputation matters more than ever.

I love all the amazing content on this app and access to it for my donation!!!
But, PLEASE stop beating me over the head with the shows you want me to watch on every single video!!!! If I’m in the middle of a video and accidentally exit, I STILL have to watch an advertisement…switching between multiple 2-5 minute mini episodes (as a lot of content on here is…) and it’s an ad before each one!! Not a brief 10 second ad, either…usually 30-45 seconds…and often the same exact one over and over and over!!!
It’s literally worse than for profit TV apps!!!
I will continue to love PBS.
I will continue to give to PBS.
But the ads…I’m going to lose my mind, possibly.
