Best
Easy and best way to validate
PCGS - coin value guide
You Should have photos of the coin in the holder especially if it is a hand signed coin. (like NGC does)
Your barcode scanner sucks
Couldn’t get the barcode on the label to scan how to manually type in the code and then your app told me my $130 coin was worth $29
It’s a 1 ounce .999 pure silver coin, silver silver spot is $80

PCGS Cert Review
Very useful site when I am bidding on coins at auction and helping me determine the value of coins I am considering. Keep up the good work.
Great info Poor bar code scanning
The info the app gives is great. Extremely useful. But the barcode scanner is not great. There’s no way to focus it on iPhone and it just does scan unless use click scan without barcode then it’s hit or miss on whether the right coin is displayed. If they could just fix the scanner to work on new iPhones it would be a perfect app

App problems
App is not working. It says every number is a wrong certification number. Please fix. Thank you.
Database Down
This app is normally very good, but I have tried using the app today 11/1/2025 and the app says my slabbed coin has an invalid coin, when the site said it was valid last week. I then go to the website and try to get validation there. It says the database is down for maintenance. It has been down for at least 9 hours. The app should indicate when the database is down, and PCGS should minimize downtime.
