About

The PD Detector app is a data display and recording application for the IPEC PD detector unit, the IPEC PD Detector is a Partial Discharge handheld spot tester, which allows for detailed analysis of MV and HV switchgear. The PD Detector App is capable of recording and storing Partial Discharge data collected by the PD Detector. It enables the user to view live PD readings as either a numeric decibel display or as an animated graph. This also allows the user to see actual PD patterns during onsite testing. The PD Detector app allows user to have an overview of all Partial Discharge site tests. The PD Detector communicates with a central database as well as maintaining a local database to allow an accurate picture of asset health to be created over time.
