Misleading App - Cannot Save Unlocked PDF Without Premium
The app claims to unlock password-protected PDF files, but the actual experience is extremely disappointing.
First, the app immediately asks for permission to track your activity through your advertising ID to show relevant advertisements. Once you provide a password-protected PDF and enter the correct password, the app successfully unlocks the file and even shows you a preview. However, when you try to save or download the unlocked PDF, it redirects you to an “Upgrade to Premium” page, with no option to download the unlocked file.
What’s the point of unlocking a PDF if you cannot save or access the unlocked file? The app lets you complete the entire process only to block you at the final step and push you toward a paid subscription.
This feels misleading and frustrating. The app should clearly disclose these limitations upfront instead of allowing users to go through the entire process before revealing that saving the file requires payment.
I would not recommend this app unless the developers make the limitations clear and provide a transparent user experience.
