Misleading App - Don’t purchase

Complete waste of time and money. Very misleading.
Had a PDF file that had printing locked/disabled and this software then asks for the password to unlock it. If I had the password to print I would not need this app! Want my money back from this scam app.

Misleading Advertising

Purports to be able to remove PDF passwords, but only removes passwords that you have set yourself. Pretty useless in other words. I immediately removed from my device but lost $1.49 for the experience. Apple should do more to protect users from misleading advertisers.

FAQ

What does PDF Password Remover do?

This app removes copying and printing restrictions from encrypted PDF files. It can decrypt protected Adobe Acrobat PDF files that have an 'owner' password set, which prevents editing, printing, or selecting text and graphics. The decrypted file will have these functions enabled.

What kind of PDF passwords can this app remove?

This app is designed to remove 'owner' passwords, which restrict actions like editing, printing, and copying. It can also help create an unlocked copy of a PDF protected by a 'user' password (open password), but you will need to manually enter the user password first to unlock the file.

What are the limitations of PDF Password Remover?

This app does not work with documents that are protected by a 'user' password preventing the file from being opened. If both the user and owner passwords are unknown, the app will fail to decrypt the PDF. It also does not crack PDF files.

How easy is it to use PDF Password Remover?

The app is designed to be quick and easy to use, requiring just three simple steps: Launch, Touch, and Decrypt. It provides a straightforward process for removing PDF passwords and restrictions.

What PDF versions and languages are supported?

The app offers high compatibility, supporting Adobe PDF versions 1.0 through 1.7. It can also decrypt PDF files in any language, making it a versatile tool for a wide range of users.
