Does not do what it says

I’d like a refund. It did not put a password on my PDF. Save your money

Dear user, Thank you for your review, I'm taking notes of all of them. But can you give me more details about your problem with the app? Any error message? Or any details that can help me understand better your case? You can also write me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu and for sure we can find a solution for this problem. Regards

Worked Fine

This app did what I anticipated. It’s not as user friendly as it could be, but I was able to figure it out (On iOS, I shared the scanned PDF with the app and that pulled it into its queue to password-protect it.). I don’t know the issue those other rater had with it, but it worked flawlessly for me.

I was not looking for something that did everything to PDFs. I use Adobe’s free scanner to scan paper documents to PDF and need to send sensitive personal documents to my financial advisor. Waiting to do it on my laptop slowed down the process. So I tried this app last night and it did exactly what it promised: It password-protected my newly scanned PDF for sending through Gmail and my advisor got it, entered the pre-arranged password and was able to work with the document.

The convenience was worth the one-time nominal charge of $2.99.

Thanks.

No stars .... blank screen and a waste of money

Does not work.

Simple and easy to use

Really simple and easy to use

If I could give no stars I would

Same issue as review before, except I was trying to add a password to a pdf document I had created on my I phone. If some PDF’s are not compatible why make an app that doesn’t actually work and then charge people for it?

Waste of money....rather frustrated

Doesn’t Work

Can only be password protected locally. When tried to email it sent unsecured! A total waste of my money!!!

Response from developer

Dear user, If you protect a PDF file it will be protected everywhere you send it, the file will be encrypted. Are you sure you sent to your email the original PDF file? (you should send the password protected PDF, of course. To do that press the Modified tab). You can send me an email to hello@alexdenk.eu and I will gladly help you with more details. Regards

Password removal doesn’t work

I purchased this app with the intention of being able to remove passwords from a couple of PDFs. When I save the files in a new location I simply get blank pages. Have contacted the developer over a week ago but have had no response

Does what it says it is - and easy to use

Easy to use, interacts easily with other apps. Simply does what is says it will do; allow you to put a password on a PDF file using an iOS device.

Great!

Quick, easy to use. Works perfectly. Thanks for this useful app!

Usless

This program is usless it says search no options to search for a total waste of money.

Response from developer

Dear customer, If you cannot see any document listed in the app, you should press the Modified/Imported tabs, the documents are placed different depending on what you did with them (imported or modified). Hope this helps.

Exactly what I needed for a complex Evernote workflow

I needed an iPad app that could follow this workflow: scan a document using the Canon scanning app (network connected scanner), export to an app that would encrypt the PDFs and then export those into Evernote for archiving.
This app is no bells and whistles, does exactly what I need it to do and is very intuitive. Love that there are no in app purchases or document syncing features or anything like that. Send a PDF to this app using the share function, give it a password and export it using the share function.
I was skeptical since there were no reviews and it was $3 but it's worth every penny.
