Probleme mit der Dateiqualität nach OCR-Verarbeitung in PDF Reader Pro

Nachdem ich die App PDF Reader Pro genutzt habe, um eine PDF-Datei mittels OCR zu verarbeiten, hat die Texterkennung zwar funktioniert, jedoch ist die Datei anschließend nicht mehr klar und teilweise verschwunden. Warum das passiert ist, weiß ich nicht.
Ich hoffe sehr, dass dieses Problem behoben wird, da die Qualität der Datei nach der OCR-Verarbeitung deutlich schlechter ist als im Original. Das erschwert das Lesen erheblich und verursacht sogar Augenschmerzen.

Version 4.9.0 corrupts your files

This Adobe Acrobat alternative has never been that easy to use for form fills, but the latest upgrade to version 4.9.0 has prompted me to drop the program and move to something else. First, it would not recognize my license key for the older version of the program that I purchased, even though Customer Support said the key code (which was requested on first log-in) was not necessary to validate my install of the new version. Second, this version completely corrupted a multi-page fillable form after I completed it. What I saw on the screen was not what the program printed or saved to the file. Many pages were lost and others were duplicated to the point that my work could not be recovered. I had to dump the file and start over in another application to complete my work. Not worth the time or trouble.

Terrible product, terrible customer service

Purchased a lifetime licence for this product in 2022, but with changes/updates to the product, I no longer have access to full product features, and customer support have not been of any assistance in restoring my past purchase. AVOID THIS PRODUCT!

What happened to my files? UPDATE

I’ve been using PDF PRO for years but after the update to IOS 18, my files have disappeared. Years worth of documents are GONE!!! Unbelievable!!! I thought maybe I needed to just update the app so like an idiot I paid for the new app…but no joy-still no files. This is a disaster. UPDATE: I was able to recover my files via my cloud but what a mess—none of the organization folders were maintained so everything is a jumbled up mess. Although there is some functionality with the app itself, it has lost all of its document sorting functions. So unless you are REALLY good at remembering all of your document names, look elsewhere or you will never find anything ever again.

Convert CTD

I have reposted the issue almost a month ago and no reaction from dev team. The issue appeared after the latest update, which implemented the new subscription mode.
The issue is: the app is crashing when trying to use the Convert feature.

Subscription Free But…

Tremendously grateful for this app because there are so few capable pdf editors that don’t require a subscription, but the editing experience is still on the poor side. Whether it’s a bug or not, I’m unable to select text by word, sentence, or paragraph either to edit or format. Additionally, text is difficult to select because the iOS space bar cursor does not work in this app for some reason. The cursor moves, but its location doesn’t update in the document.

If these problems were fixed, I would definitely rate higher because there’s a lot to like here.

Katastrophe

Sorry, aber das ist rausgeschmissenes Geld. Warum?
-> die Bearbeitung ist extrem fummelig
-> nachträgliches Ändern nahezu unmöglich. Um Textfelder zu markieren, muss man ewig versuchen, die richtige Stelle zu treffen
-> es gibt kein Auswahlwerkzeug, um Elemente zu markieren (der klassische Pfeil in jedem anderen Programm)
-> das finale Dokument sieht in einem anderen Reader völlig anders aus.

22€ zu Fenster rausgeschmissen…Klasse!

Great app

In reading mode，please add the translation function in the floating menu and allow man to freely select search engines. Please increase the adjustment sensitivity of the brush tool, so that the thickness of the lines drawn by the brush tool will be different with the different sense of gravity of the iPad pencil.
PDF file cannot be splited according to outlines or bookmarks.

Very limited Language Support

One would expect that there are more Language options but not really. And it seems no path to upgrade add or change the Language options. Be careful before purchase.

Fishy Access Requirement: You must grant access to your drives vs just editing .pdf's

Instead of just opening files (drag & Drop) to edit an existing file, you must grant the application access to your drives and/or store you files on their drives. Unessary and fishy requirement.

I just paid/downloaded the application and will be requresting a refund/finding a different application.

Waste of time!

Mistake: updated from version 1.9.10 to 2.0.2

Now highlighting is messed up, it wants to highlight page number and vertical texts from books. Highlighting now jumps to highlight the entire page instead of a few texts. Please bring back the old version, I couldn’t downgrade.

Muito bom!

Realmente um app de edição de PDF, e de compra única. Permite alterar caixas de texto e imagens já contidas em um arquivo, e não apenas adicionar tais elementos e fazer anotações. Até o momento supriu todas as minhas necessidades. Parabéns aos desenvolvedores, e que estes possam ser reconhecidos e manter o app por muito mais tempo.
