Confusing interface
Sadly this isn't for me. The interface is clunky and illogical and like so many apps, seems to have its on take on how the iOS file system works. I'll be asking for my money back. Such a shame as it seemed so promising. The actual compression is pretty good.

Hallo zusammen, nach Gerätewechsel kann ich den Kauf nicht wiederherstellen. Seinerzeit günstiger als heute soll ich dem Anschein nach nocheinmal mehr dafür bezahlen ? Oder habe ich eine Option übersehen ?

It’s a bit disappointing that it does not support iOS shortcuts, and that you need to buy another copy if you want to use it on macOS. That makes it a bit pricey for a single-purpose utility app.

PDFOptim made my life simpler!
I compose “how-to’s,” “tips ‘n tricks“ and recipes that I like to send & share with friends & family. These require photos & screenshots because ("A picture is worth a thousand words".)
Invariably these documents run into trouble when I try to paste them into an email. Either the pictures are moved around, or the text gets scrambled about, or most often the file refuses to email because ‘it’s too big.”
PDFOptim let’s me save my documents as PDF files that are 90%+ smaller than the raw documents. I’ve been able to email the small PDF documents as mail attachments without fail!
Price was reasonable & it does the job I need. Takes a bit of time to get the hang of it, but easy after a few goes.

THIS is the only one you need…
Sadly, the App Store is riddled with an astonishing number of poor or scam PDF compression apps. PDF Optim is the only one which works properly and allows you to make all the fine adjustments to compression/quality you need. It’s a rare thing: a perfect app which always works: 5 Stars!

My go-to for PDF compression and a live saver for digital job applications with upload size restrictions. Works fast and requires no Internet connection. Buy it!

Mit PDF Optim kann ich einzelne Element-Typen wie Vektoren oder Grafiken individuell stark komprimieren.
Damit lassen sich meine Textdokumente um durchschnittlich 50% reduzieren, ohne die Bildqualität von grafiken einzuschränken. ( Profil 300 100 5)
Das ist doppelt so viel wie die meisten anderen Apps die ich getestet habe.
Die App akzeptiert drag & drop sowie Dateiimporte, arbeitet in allen Bildschirmorientierungen, ist schnell, Offline, lässt OCR Text in Ruhe und exportiert unter dem ursprünglichen Dateinamen.
Keine versteckten in-App Käufe oder Abos.
Alles nicht selbstverständlich, wie ich feststellen musste.
Wenn du in meiner Situation bist, hör auf zu suchen und zahl die läppischen 3,50€
