About

Managing peritoneal dialysis at home means tracking more than just how you feel. PDHD — Dialysis Companion is built for PD patients and their care teams: a single place to log every session, monitor supply inventory, and stay on top of health trends — all on your device, with private iCloud sync whenever you want it. KEY FEATURES • Session Logging — Record fluid volume, glucose concentration, electrolytes, and ultrafiltration for every dialysis exchange. Evidence-based reference ranges guide data entry (ISPD 2019, KDIGO 2024). • Supply & Delivery Tracking — Visualise your inventory with a live donut chart, review delivery history, and get predictive reorder alerts before you run low. • HealthKit Integration — 28-day trend charts for weight, blood pressure, and blood glucose pulled directly from Apple Health. • Lab Values — Log creatinine, potassium, phosphate, calcium, urea, and haemoglobin alongside published clinical targets (KDOQI 2015, ADA/KDIGO 2022). • Apple Watch Companion — Check supply status and log deliveries from your wrist with bidirectional WatchConnectivity sync. • Home & Lock Screen Widgets — Keep your inventory summary visible at a glance with small, medium, and accessory complications. • Care Team Contacts — Store your nephrologist, supplier, and hospital with one-tap call and email. • Biometric Authentication — Face ID with 5-minute auto-lock keeps your health data private. CLINICAL CREDIBILITY PDHD is built around published guidelines to help you and your care team make informed decisions. Reference ranges and targets come from KDIGO 2024, ISPD 2019, ADA/KDIGO 2022, and KDOQI 2015. PRIVACY FIRST Your data stays on your device. No accounts. No subscriptions. No servers of ours — your health information is never sent to the developer, and there is no analytics or tracking of any kind. If you use iCloud, your records sync privately through your own iCloud account, keeping your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac in step. That sync is yours to control: turn iCloud off for PDHD in iOS Settings and everything stays entirely on-device.

What's New in PDHD

1.6

August 10, 2026

What's new in 1.6: • Tap any value in a list to change it — weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, lab results and dialysis sessions • The metric picker on the Dashboard and Dialysat screens is now a clear, colour-coded card instead of a small link • Record the supply you already had before you started tracking, under Settings → Starting Stock, so remaining supply reflects what you actually hold • Apple Watch now shows your real remaining supply, calculated from the bag sizes in your deliveries Accessibility: • Text scales properly throughout the app at larger text sizes • Higher-contrast colours across charts, labels, and section headers • Chart data points are easier to reach with VoiceOver Fixes: • Fixed Apple Watch reporting far less dialysate remaining than iPhone for the same deliveries • Contacts and Settings no longer clip text at large text sizes • Charts with no data now show clearer, higher-contrast placeholders
