About
Peabody Guardian is a court-ordered electronic monitoring application for individuals subject to domestic violence and other protection orders.
If you have been directed by a court or supervising officer to install this application, Peabody Guardian helps you remain in compliance with the terms of your order automatically and without disruption to your daily life.
How it works
Once enrolled by your supervising officer, the app runs quietly in the background and periodically reports your location to your assigned officer.
You may occasionally receive a notification asking you to verify your identity using Face ID or Touch ID — simply respond when prompted.
What the app monitors:
- Location (GPS) reported on a regular schedule
- Proximity to court-ordered exclusion zones
- Device status and app availability
- Identity verification via biometric prompt
What your officer can see?
Your supervising officer has access to your check-in history, your location, and the results of any verification requests through a secure web dashboard. This information is used solely for compliance with your court order.
Your responsibilities:
- Keep the app installed and running at all times
- Keep your phone charged
- Respond promptly to verification notifications
- Do not disable location permissions
If you have questions about your monitoring requirements, contact your supervising officer or attorney — not Apple Support.
Privacy
Location and biometric data are collected only as required by your court order and are accessible only to your assigned supervising officers. Data is stored securely and not shared with third parties. See our full Privacy Policy at peabodyguardian.com/privacy.html.
