PeaceLens is an academic research and training app for analysing election-related media through peace journalism principles. Researchers, journalists, election observers, trainers, and policy teams can capture media reports, record source metadata, score coverage with an explainable Peace Journalism Index, compare findings across Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya, archive coded records, and prepare export-ready research outputs. The app supports transparent human review by combining article text, outlet information, election phase, country, coder notes, annotations, risk language, missing voices, and rubric scores in one workflow. PeaceLens is designed for research, newsroom training, election monitoring, and policy reflection where responsible reporting and conflict-sensitive communication matter.
