Peakme: Summit Log

Peakme 2.0 is built around Community, the leaderboard, and iOS 27. Community Follow hikers, open their profiles, and see their activities around the Bonfire. You get their ascents, photos, and notes as they come in, not a delayed recap. Leaderboard Compare unique peaks, ascents, elevation gain, and points. See who is filling Crowns this season, not only who covered more distance. Home Screen widgets Four widgets sit on the Home Screen and stay current as you hike: • Nearby peaks — peaks around you, ready to open • Crown progress — how many peaks you still need in a Crown • Latest ascent — the last peak you reached • Season — your year in unique peaks, ascents, and elevation gain Tap a widget to jump straight into the peak, Crown, or Logbook. iOS 27: search, Spotlight, and on-screen awareness Your Logbook peaks appear in Spotlight with elevation and the mountain range, so you can open a peak without digging through the map. Crowns you have opened can show up there too. On iOS 27, system search can send a peak name into Peakme. Type from the Home Screen or Spotlight and land on in-app peak search. On-screen awareness means iOS can see which peak or Crown you are looking at. Detail screens, lists, search results, and cards all take part. When a peak or Crown is on screen, Shortcuts and Siri can act on that item instead of asking you to pick it again. App Intents, Shortcuts, and Siri Peakme now exposes peaks, Crowns, ascents, profiles, and the Logbook to the rest of iOS. App Shortcuts are ready on first launch: • “Open [peak] in Peakme” • “Open my logbook in Peakme” • “Log an ascent of [peak] in Peakme” In the Shortcuts app you can also: • Open a peak, Crown, ascent, or profile • Get Crown progress — peaks done and still remaining • Share Crown progress as text, with the count and a Peakme link • Share a peak or an ascent as text (name, elevation, range, Maps pin; no private notes) • Find past ascents by peak and date, including repeat visits to the same peak • Hand a peak’s coordinates to Maps for directions Log an ascent from Siri, a Shortcut, or the Home Screen, then keep hiking. Widgets follow the Home Screen tint. If Peakme is closed, Spotlight and system search can still open a peak or start in-app search. Crown progress in Shortcuts reads your current Logbook, not a stale snapshot. Repeat visits to the same peak stay separate when you find or share an ascent.
