Stop asking for location!!

I like Soundpeats as an affordable off-brand for beater earbuds that are reliable. You can toss them in a gym bag, leave them laying around, and they just work. And back in the day, they were the only off-brand to implement “game mode” that minimized lag when listening to game play and tv! What I don’t like is this app working exactly ONE time before sending me constant (and I mean CONSTANT) “friendly reminders” that my location isn’t activated. In a shocking coincidence—even though the app claims not to collect data—all the equalizers and preset sound features no longer appeared once they realized that I wasn’t going to turn on “location”. Well, Soundpeats, you’re not getting “location”; you don’t need it, and it shouldn’t matter to you. What SHOULD matter is that you’re turning off core customers with this overly invasive and obnoxious request for location on a pair of earbuds.

The app is holding you back

I actually do really like these headphones… but this is easily, by far, the worst audio/headphone app I’ve ever used. The “find my” feature may as well not exist since it disconnects from the app frequently and you can’t reconnect without opening the case. What even is the point? Genuinely could be a player in the headphone market if this app was anything near usable because the headphones are actually very good especially for their price. But this app, man…

Useless. Does not work

Worked somewhat before the update 2 days ago. After the update app totally stopped functioning- it keeps searching for the device and cannot detect it, you see nothing but continuous search animation on the screen. Useless garbage

Disappearing options

For some reason, pass through is only visible for a second not accessible anymore, glitch only had for a month. Worked fine up till now.

Unable to create a login…

App requires an activation code during signup process. It’s weird because this occurs before you even submit your email address, so how does it know where to send the code to? Despite having all the information entered, the button to send the code isn’t functional. Exiting out of the app and restarted it constantly tells me something about a network error. I’m throwing in the towel on this one. The headphones still sound great without the app.

Plz make this app work offline properly

Its buggy and glitchy. Needs network to work properly. And why do you guys not update your earbuds. It’s been some time when i bought air5 pro+ and no firmware updates been made to fix bugs and needed enhancement.

Gets the job done

The app gets the job done but feels very unpolished and inconsistent. You can tune the eq and adjust controls and everything, but it’s not a very smooth experience. Needs some refinement.

Good hardware, TERRIBLE app

1. You need to register for an account to use equalizer (wth?)

2. App isn’t even sure if the buds are connected or not, or stuck in scanning phase, or just give you nonsensical pop up about network error - especially in the area with no internet connection

3. Lost headphones search function seems nice right? Oh, don’t bother, it’s straight up junk

Only bugs

When I try to update Soundpeats clear it doesn’t proceed. Soundpeats audio app is slightly better.

App is very rough to use

On every launch have to agree to license agreement, extremely unresponsive to use. For some reason the audio ducks when tweaking EQ with the H3? Any action takes a few seconds to reflect on the gui and headphones, app takes a long time to launch. It barely works..

Recent bug

Both pairs of pop clips I have, started losing connection to one bud recently then randomly reconnecting to it. Running iOS 26.2 on iPhone 14pro with latest app. Still an issue even after attempting firmware updates which refused to download or install then on app update said I was running the latest firmware. Both pairs have done firmware updates successfully in the past, were named correctly and have worked great for ages with super reliable Bluetooth connection previously.

Ignore the past reviews, this app is good and easy to use. Work great on iphone 17 pro

No issues

You need supported devices

There’s nothing wrong with the app. gives access to more features and works fine. Just make sure your earbuds are supported by it in the first place, unlike other people on here.

useless app without internet

This app need to work offline why this app is useless without Internet is shows request filed please fix this issue

⚠️Is this just a second scam??⚠️

Seriously, AGAIN?!how can an app be this entirely non-functional for an actual purchased (& not cheap) physical product?

Its basically just a fake facade that bricks once it gathers your data & email. It honestly makes the product itself seem unsafe with the implications about the company behind it.

Hopefully people are leaving Amazon reviews with security warnings to match the flood of angry app reviews here, I certainly wish I wouldve known about this before purchasing, to avoid the entire company.

This is just bizarrely unusual behavior from any legitimate tech company, not a good sign, buyer beware ‼️⚠️

Okay

This works okay but I feel like soundpeats is much much better than this app. Like every other brand that are mostly less popular have a much better app

Edit: now it wants me. To use the new app for my air 5 but the new app doesn’t have them so just nothing works for them cool

Terrible in every way

Sadly there is -5 stars you can review for this app. I am really not sure what they supposedly fixed. But having to agree to terms logging in every time you open the app. Unable to locate your headphones even though it’s connected. Is not really giving you the best confidence in this organisation. Maybe invest in some time in reviewing your customers feedback and stop confusing people with all the other versions you have that are not the one you want them to use and remove them and build this app from the ground up. I am sure that there is many of your competitors you can review their UX experience and fix yours.

Doesn't like custom device names

The app works when it works, but it does not detect devices that have been given custom names (Settings > Bluetooth > My Devices > ℹ️), saying that they are "not made by SoundPEATS".
