Would be a five if they didn’t use AI in there product gallery
I love the cases they came in great quality and condition. They’re super cute and I bought them on the buy one get one free deal so that was an excellent deal! My only complaint is that there are a couple phone cases that have AI pictures and as a brand who is trying to help the environment, I think we can all agree as a community we don’t want Ai!!

Case broke, AirPods lost, no reimbursement
The very first time I ever used my Pela AirPod case out of the house, worn on their carabiner on my belt loop, the case loop broke off and my AirPods were lost. I got in touch with customer service and after asking for a picture of the damage of a lost case and AirPods, they proceeded to send me a new case for AirPods I no longer have. If their case loop is not sturdy enough to withstand being carried by it on a carabiner, then why do they include it if they’re not going to be responsible for replacing the lost AirPods due to their case breaking?

If you’re an American like me, I think you should just stick to buying your new phone cases from like Amazon. Unless you want to risk your card getting locked up, like what happened to me.
Interesting Habits/“Eco-Friendly”
I believe in what Pela’s doing and I avidly use their products on all of my tech. I’ve only ever recommended and raved about how much I love Pela and my cases. Unfortunately that’s recently changed as they continue to use generative AI in their advertisements. I find it incredibly odd for a self-proclaimed “eco-friendly” brand to take such a cheap approach at marketing that’s actively contributing to climate change in such a drastic sense. Do better.
