Really good app, useful customisable interface. Much easier than fiddling with stopwatches.
Super simple and it saved my arse
First time I was was penalty box manager I had two jammers sit down within 6 seconds of each other—didn’t have to remember the rules, just had to hit the right color buttons. Hopefully you’re not with one of those leagues that insists you use the traditional hourglass rather than an app. Bring a power pack for your phone tho.

Takes the stress out of a stressful position.
I’ve been using this app for several years and it keeps getting better. There is no easier way to run a box. Now if it only did the paperwork.
Best app for penalty timing
I have been using a version of this app for almost seven years and have to yet to find anything better. It is constantly updated to the changes in rules and have always been solid.

Not correct
As an experienced box manager this was my go-to app but the April 2017 update failed to address the new jammer timing rules so can't use it anymore.
WFTDA
I know it says it has knowledge of the WFTDA rules, but is there any way to actually get this program blessed by WFTDA? I love this program, but I end up arguing with the refs because they want us to use those pain in the butt stop watches.
Granted, the bylaws say we may use either the stop watches or an app, but here in MI, these people are still thinking like Fred Flintstone. If you could actually say that this is a WFTDA certified app, it would make all the difference in the world.... Thanks.

Crashes in iOS9
Will not open immediately crashes!
Will not work
Updated to IOS9 and now the app will not work at all. I click on the app, it comes up and immediately closes.
Needs a count up option
This would be 5 stars if a count up option was in place - currently the timers count down from 30sec, but being used to using a stop watch that counts up, it takes a bit of getting used to in regards to communication with the skaters, and doing your paperwork (as it ends up kind of backwards!)
Otherwise, this is SUCH a nifty app for managing the box! I love that you can either manage one colour, just Jammers, or the whole box. Hit start when their bum hits the seat, stop/start as the jams finish/start, and even does your jammer timing perfectly. Love it for scrimmage!

This is great for scrimmages and are short NSOs! I have to wrestle with multiple timers-frustrating. This is an extreme improvements. App does what it's designed to do without any issues.

Helps prevent a hot mess
I've always been a proponent of the idea that a penalty box timer only needs a stopwatch and a pencil I handle their blockers, but with the new 30 sec penalties, our box has been a hot mess. This app is really going to save my bacon. I love it!
Major penalty
Timer works great but I would like to see it have the option to add another minute, for a total of 2 minutes to a specific players penalty time.

This makes box timing so easy! One feature request: Ability to set the default time to 30 seconds - we often use shorter penalty times during short scrimmages.
