Keyboard writing missing 🥲
This application has a great and beautiful user interface with great colours and options. However for those who don’t use a pencil it’s so hard to write with the finger. I gladly could support this project if I knew I could use my Apple Magic Keyboard to write as well.

Thank you again for this thoughtful feedback and for supporting PencilTime! We’re happy to share that keyboard text input is now available in version 1.10. You can type on full-page Note pages, in the Notes areas on Year, Month, and Week pages, and in Todos, Priorities, and individual timeline slots on supported Day pages. You can also switch between typing and Apple Pencil whenever you like. We hope this makes PencilTime much easier and more enjoyable to use with your Apple Magic Keyboard. The closest I’ve gotten to by paper notebook
I’ve been a hardcore paper BuJo user for years because I couldn't find a digital app that let me do "rapid logging" without it feeling like I was filling out a spreadsheet. This app changed that. The Apple Pencil integration means my symbols and handwriting actually look like my own, and the dedicated note pages are perfect for maintaining my Index and long-term Collections right alongside my daily spreads. I love that I can use stickers for my keys/bullets but still have the freedom to draw my own layouts when the standard templates don't fit my mood. The real kicker is the iPhone sync, I finally have my full planner in my pocket for quick reference when I’m out, which solves the "bulky" problem I always had with my paper notebooks. It’s the ritual of paper with the digital convenience I actually needed.

Link stickers are a game changer
Love that I can create note pages and link directly to them from my planner pages. Makes organizing so much easier-projects, meeting notes, daily tasks all connected. Handwriting feels great.
