Very disappointed with this company they left me traumatised am in disbelief,which am going to be taking this forward lady had me in the process of loosing my job on the basic of her not having a good problem solving and understandable skills telling me walk to work like she’s paying my taxi fares I work hard for my money very bad service I been a good customer for years but the call agent lack some skills saying is it my responsibility to take u to work, I offered to pay the fare which was bumped by someone on my account but the driver didn’t take it from me to drop to the other driver In the office as he said it’s a waste of his time and I asked for the driver number to rectify the issue but till today no number was given to me,company don’t look out for their customers enough.

It doesn’t work
I have had an account and right up until the last update the app worked fine (I mean this is a review of the app not the company so I won’t mention waiting times). However I now need to re-register and it just sticks in the Captcha page - a little wheel spinning and nothing else. If an app can’t allow you do it’s only function then it can’t have any stars really - it simply doesn’t do the one job it’s supposed to do.

unnecessary charges?
I know you get charged for wait times, but everytime i use this app to book taxis they end up charging me around £1.20-£1.50 a couple times for no reason? it’s as if they’re just stealing money when they feel like it on top of the initial fare, honestly wouldn't surprise me if they do this in hopes you won’t notice because it’s a small amount but those all add up in the longterm.

App downloads then asks for mobile number, it’s at this point you get the spinning circle of doom. It doesn’t load past this screen and repeats this every time it’s downloaded

Enter your phone number > get a code > enter your phone number > enter code … repeat 4 times and never create an account!? 🤷♂️ How can you muck this this up?

What an absolute shambles of a company 60 mins waiting on taxi with abuse from operators. Quick to take your money from bank though & don’t show up!!! STAY CLEAR!!!

Half the time the app doesn’t process your payment. Waiting times are ridiculous. Gone are the days when you could rely on this mob for a quick/ reliable ride home.

Took payment in advance then again at the end of the journey. Rip off!! I do not recommend this taxi service hence the name penny cars
Dodgy
Every time I pay with card it takes a verification payment of the full taxi fare then charges me again once fare completed. Don’t get verification payment back for 2 days. Went on my online banking and this app has took a fly 50p here and there so watch out
