What's New in Penta
1.3
October 16, 2026
Penta comes to iPhone Duo, and the deck now sounds like the real thing. • iPhone Duo: the phone is the jewel case. Open it and the case opens with it, then load the disc into the changer. Fold it like a laptop and your CD wallet sits above the tray. • Real sounds: the keys, the tray, the carousel and a disc being set down are recorded from a real five-disc changer. • Hold it upright for a new deck: a CD wallet over the disc tray, on iPhone and iPad. Turn it sideways for the full carousel. • Penta Pro adds Real CD Artwork (beta): discs can show the actual printed CD instead of the album cover. • Jewel cases catch the light as you tilt. • The carousel turns like a real changer, one slot at a time. • Fixes: stopping while a song is starting now stops it, and opening an album no longer stalls.
