Pente Live is a mobile application that allows users to play Pente and Gomoku, two strategic board games, against other players worldwide or against computer opponents. It offers various game modes, including turn-based and real-time play, tournaments, and unique Pente variants.
The app features turn-based and real-time (live) play, allowing you to compete with players globally. You can also play against two different computer players, participate in tournaments, and try the King of the Hill mode. Additionally, it includes a game database to search for the best moves by position.
In Pente, you can win by placing five or more of your stones in a straight continuous line (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally). You can also win by capturing 10 or more of your opponent's stones. Some variants have additional winning conditions or restrictions.
Yes, the app includes several Pente variants such as Gomoku (place 5 in a row), Keryo-Pente (capture 3 in a row), G-Pente (restricted second move), D-Pente (player 1 places initial stones), Poof-Pente (play into a capture), and Boat-Pente (game continues after a Pente is made if opponent can capture).
The application is free to download and play, but it does offer in-app purchases. These purchases may enhance the user experience or provide additional features, though the core gameplay is accessible without them.
