Thank you for the honest feedback, and I’m sorry the first experience was a frustrating one. The lag you’re describing isn’t normal, the app shouldn’t be unusable, so something specific is going wrong on your setup and I’d genuinely like to fix it. If you can tell me which iPad model you’re on, it would help me track it down. A lot of performance issues come down to a specific device or iPadOS combination I can then reproduce and patch. On the pricing: the base app is free with 6 pages, and that’s meant to be a real trial, not a teaser. The paid part is individual notebooks (one-time purchase) or a subscription if someone prefers. I hear you that it wasn’t clear enough up front, and that’s on me to communicate better, not something I want anyone feeling tricked by. If you’re open to giving it another shot once I understand the lag, write me directly, I read every message and I’d rather fix the problem than lose you over it

Only needed the free version but went ahead and bought the notebooks because obviously they give you more bang for your buck
