Abandoned?
Been trying ti buy the paid version for a long time. Apple wont let me do it. I believe this app has been abandoned by its dev. Too bad, looks like its the best thing out there
Why Perfboard?
The app is very very basic.
It’s a nice little app though that covers the very basics of Ohms Law.
There’s a bit about resistor colour codes and caps.
A nice touch is the info about LEDs and voltage dividers.
To be fair; there’s enough info here for you to keep the magic smoke inside an LED and get it to light up, and in all honesty that’s where the journey begins.
There’s no point in scaring people with circuit analysis, truth tables and sketches.

Great! Except for 1 Ohm
Very handy... Worth the small price to unlock other features. NOTE: There is one bug, the app reports a 1 ohm resistor as a 10k resistor... Only issue I have found..
Just the Job
Just realised I had not written a review yet, but have to say it is just the job for me being a casual user of this stuff and never remembering the calculations as I have a head like a sieve.
Very handy having the ability to do the calculations on the fly.
I note it hasn’t been updated for a while, so I do hope it will continue to work. I’m on IOS 12.1.3 and it works fine.
