Best cocktail app!!
I tried a few and gave up. Finally came across this app because of its unique scale that works with it and I downloaded the app while I wait for my scale to come. Adding recipes was easy and intuitive, and the interface is clean and straightforward. Excited to use it more as I get more into craft cocktails!

Outdated App
The app hasn’t been updated for more than a year. When used with the current version of iOS(17.1.2) on my iPhone 13 Pro, it is only partially functional. For example, it will recognize that I have put a glass of ice on the scale, but it will not recognize the pouring of any ingredients. Works fine on my old iPad mini (2nd gen) with iOS 12.5.7, just not on devices with current iOS. I suppose it’s possible it’s an issue with using the lightning > headphone dongle? Or it may just need updating for compatibility with the current iOS.
Update: Just tried with 17.1.2 on my regular iPad and it works fine, don’t appears to be an issue when using the Lightning to headphone adapter on devices without a headphone jack.

Best cocktail app
I’ve tried a lot of different cocktail apps and this one is the best! A lot of other apps had the wrong measurement for simple cocktails this one is spot on for everyone that I’ve looked at! It’s great if you are a beginner or a bartender trying to find new ideas. The ability to make your own cocktail is a little difficult at first but after some messing around it’s easy and you can get very detailed in how to build the cocktail. I highly recommend this app!

Clunky app that doesn’t update frequently
I’ve had Perfect Drink for a few years now and at first it seems great, but it’s so finicky. I use the scale exclusively as a kitchen scale but the most annoying thing is that occasionally the Bluetooth tries to connect and you can’t stop it.
But the app. It hasn’t gotten new recipes in years and adding new recipes is a real challenge. I use the Paprika app for cooking and loading recipes is a breeze. This though has no real way to import recipes. It’s a super manual process despite the number of actions taken to build a cocktail being super simple typically. There should be a way for me to import recipes from websites and have the actions be auto generated by the app.

It could be better
The best thing about app that is free. But design is horrible like came from 1990. Also it a base thing for a cocktail app to search recipe with different filters. And it will be great if you add more recipes. Nowadays there only basic recipes from IBA site.
Doesn’t work
App stopped working with new phone and after updates. App recognizes shaker glass on scale but not when you pour in your ingredients.
App no longer works on wired scale.
Since version 8.x was released, this app no longer works with the wired scale via headphone jack. I have some devices on an older version of the app and they still work with the scale. Don’t bother contacting their “support” team as you won’t get a response. It’s a shame because this was, and still could be a good product, but it has been broken by a bad software release which clearly wasn’t QA’d properly.
Update 16/12/2021
Just got a response from the developers to say they’ve fixed the problem with the older wired scales. I’ve tested v8.03 and am pleased to say it works again. I’m therefore adjusting my score back to 5 stars.
I have to say, I understand you cannot offer technical support for your older products forever, but not offering support is not the same thing as bricking the scale with a bad software update. Especially as we are unable to purchase the Bluetooth version of your scale in the UK. Anyway, thanks for making that old source code work once again!

Wife’s going away with girly mates and we bought an iPhone 11 adaptor to accommodate our perfect drink scale which we use quiet a lot and especially in lockdown🙈!

So happy to see them supporting the app again!
It seemed they had stopped supporting the app for awhile seeing as how it wasn’t working too well with newer phones, but when I saw they released an update for the app, it seems the problems have been resolved! It’s such a great app again! Thank you so much! :)

Have had this for years, still good. You can add your own cocktails as you invent them.

Cool App
This is a good app with interesting hardware that connects to it. It’s a pretty innovative idea how it works. Devs, please communicate to those in charge we appreciate the ongoing support as iOS updates and things change over the years. This is a cool device that sits on the counter of my home bar!

Could use an update
Overall I like this app a lot its really well calibrated with the scale but could use an update by added more drinks it can make.
App has issues
When trying to load up a recipe, the app doesn’t load the recipe. It’s just a blank screen. You have to go back and forth multiple times and restart the app to get it to ever pull up the recipe. Super annoying.
Won’t let me sign in with existing account
Not very functional if you can’t even sign in. When I try to enter my cursor goes to select or select all not letting me type. And it knows I have an account when I try to register but won’t let me in. I hope that they didn’t pay for this because they were taken
