Really Great Tool

This App is a very useful tool that is flexible and adaptable to provide a music score at the speed you need. Excellent clarity.

Hands Free!

Love the autoscroll 😊

Scrolls PDFs simply, controllably and well

I’ve used Forscore, Piascore, and numerous other music/PDF reading apps but none has been able to accomplish this one task as well as Perform: Scroll a multi-page PDF or sheet music AND have a simple, very user friendly interface to control playback speed. Perform does its assigned job very well. Kudos!

Would be useful if you could lower the scroll speed

Although this app has potential, I find that the auto scrolling is too fast, even when set to its slowest setting. This means that when playing a piece, I have to start scrolling part-way through to avoid having some of the music disappear before I get to it. Having to do that kind of defeats the object of the app.

Great Idea

You can open a PDF in your email and open it in the app. This makes for an easy score upload. As a high school band director, the ability to mark measures with different symbols and highlights would make this app really effective.

Great scrolling feature, with autoscroll

Not exactly a review on what this application is designed to do (I haven't used it to read musical scores) but want to indicate that this has the best scrolling feature plus (uniquely) a great autoscroll of any dedicated PDF reader I have tried. Paragoni should develop a PDF reader-annotation application!!!

Great app

I sing in a church choir and used to haul around 3 big binders of music. Now I haul around my iPad and it's much easier. Each week I create a new set list, arrange all my music, then just page through its as we sing.
Great app for anyone tired of hauling around all that paper. Welcome to the digital age.

Could be the best! But

Good music reader so far from what I can tell. Please could we have some way of making notes on a score or part I.e. fingerings, or tempo changes etc. As a classical musician I rely a lot on the notes I make on a score for performance. Is there a way also to rename scores in the app its self so you don't have hundreds of files named IMSLP for example etc? Will be testing more in the coming months

Crash

Does what I need it to do but it keeps crashing when Importing pdf's and does not save any pdf. Please Fix

Writing and editing

You should be able to add text and changes like clip art rests and sharp signs. It would be a lot easier follow along when the conductor changes the music. Other than that I love it.

Excellent time saver for reading sheet music

I used to keep my scanned sheet music in iBooks but no longer. I upgraded to the HD version and it's really nice. I like the look and organization and the smoothness of playing a song that I can practice with my guitar. Would like a couple of things adjusted. When I scroll down on a piece of music with my finger there is this stop and "catch up" thing that happens. Kind of annoying. Also, when I would be on a "set" and then click on another one it first went back to the "all" list and I had to click on it again to activate it. Also, when I was deleting the songs already installed on it, it crashed 3 times so there is a minor bug there as well. Fix these three areas and I would easily give it a 5 star rating. Nice work and thanks. If you are having a hard time deciding go over to the App called Great Decisions it is great for sorting through a tough decision. Oh, almost forgot, I want a button on the front that allows me to record myself rather than a pop up window.

Slow & unfriendly

PDF rendering is slow and the quality is ordinary, enough that some scanned music is virtually unreadable. Page turn is not reliable enough to use in live performances. Only allowing upload through iTunes majestic this unusable for me. Certainly not worth the $'s for a "pro" version. Might revisit if updated.

No stars

You can use 5 songs only, then you have to buy the pro version, this looks like a demo version, it should be free

Great Potential!

I really love the UI. I am a high school choral director and will consider upgrading to full version if a 'score mark-up' function is added. It will definitely be five stars if this happens!
