User reviews

From driving Club beats to Sleepy Ambient, Samposium does it all!

I’ve used a few different music apps for iPad, but nothing has stuck for me until now. This app is super powerful, with tons of built-in fx, resampling, clip chopping, and more! The UI is versatile and customizable, I love the fast switching between different modes for on-the-fly adjustments to suit the current task. Built-in sequencing and Ableton Link capability mean it integrates with my other software and hardware seamlessly. MIDI control is just icing on the cake, allowing me to use my external pad controllers to launch clips.

Finally, the development team is very responsive both for addressing bugs and discussing feature requests.

Bottom line, if I could give it 6 stars I would!

SoundScaper’s Dream

When I stumbled on this app I was amazed how intuitive and incredibly useful it was for my specific purposes. I had been seeking a program that functioned like this, but the available options didn’t quite stack up for me, then I found Samposium, which hit all the sweet spots. I have not even tapped into the sequencer yet, and it is already super effective for layering various samples and field recordings, manipulating the sounds, creating ambient drones and cinematic backgrounds. I am excited to explore and create more with this fun and awesome tool. The developers were quick and open to responding to early bug fixes and suggestions, so I am optimistic they will continue to find improvements and upgrades that will make this even more indispensable to enthusiastic sound manipulators.

Powerful and incredibly fun app

Really enjoying Samposium. Sequencer is super intuitive, effects are great, and I feel like there’s still plenty left to discover under the hood. Have gotten sucked into a few hour long sessions already. Big time recommend.
