Unfortunately there is a shortage of Maternal Fetal Medicine (High Risk Pregnancy) specialists in the US and therefore not every expectant mother has the luxury of having access to these specialists should the need arise. This is where Perinatal Access can help. Through our app, aXess, we can help bring care to remote (or urban) areas that would otherwise not have convenient access to a high risk pregnancy physician. aXess allows physicians to consult with the patient via real time video and to also see a live real time stream of the ultrasound right on their iPhone or iPad.
PLEASE NOTE: aXess is not intended for home use. Only Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals should download and use this app.
