Digital value
It is so helpful to enlarge the photos with the digital version for iPad. I have enjoyed Period Living for many years and while the mail has slowed overseas at the moment I have taken to the digital copy very well. Little details of fabric textures and colours, arrangements on a table or a window sill are able to be zoomed in so I can really so how it is all brought together.

IOS app not working
No subscription options at all

I am enjoying these online issues with no fuss whatsoever.
Period Living
This app does not work now. I have lost approx 50+ back issues from my library and have tried iTunes restore feature without success. I am so angry that the back issues have been arbitrarily taken from me and can get no response from the digital publisher. A total waste of money ..... disgraceful.

I'm livid! I have paid for a subscription £24.99 and can't even download it. Despite emailing my problem I still can't receive it. They need to sort the bugs soon!

Takes the money but doesn't work
I paid for latest edition but can't access it. It keeps telling me to reinstall the app, to no avail.

Ios8 woes
Was working fantastically and ordered my new edition. When I tried to read it wouldn't load and now none of app at all will load. I fear Ios8 has struck!
Misleading
Ordered a 1 month trial subscription and expected the latest September edition as advertised. Received instead something title 'How to Revive Period Features'. Very disappointing.
Building on the Past
What a sunny smile the articles and photos bring to the soul! How encouraging and reassuring to see and read about new and ongoing plans for historic places that capture and renew the steady constant of connectivity to heritage with endeavors proving themselves worthy through the inherent joy of a job well done. Problems
Magazine won't upload. Keeps telling me to update. I have even deleted app and reinstalled, still same problem. Help!

I have been buying this magazine for years, but since I'm in the US it's been cost prohibitive to have mailed. I diligently went to my local book store and crossed my fingers they'd have the newest issue. Sometimes I'd leave a winner and other times not.
When I saw I could have the newest issues on my iPad I jumped for joy. It not the same as having the magazine in my hands (which I adore), but simply knowing the the newest issue will be ready every month for me was freeing. It's also 1/3 the price from the newsstand.
The app itself is good. It basically brings the exact magazine to my hands. Nothing is sacrificed in the coloring, or text.
I do however wish I could pinch to enlarge portions of the text that are too small, or allow me to focus in on a picture. The other thing that would be amazing, totally a wish, is the ability to tap an add and go to the site. I realize this is not the purpose of the magazine, but there are many cool suggestions and I want a way to bookmark them for future perusal.
Over all I am extremely please I can have my favorite magazine wherever I go, and not have to cross my fingers that the bookstore will have it.
