About

PermitPass is permit-test practice built on your state's official driver handbook. Every answer comes with an explanation and the handbook section it came from, so you can check it yourself instead of taking our word for it. WHAT YOU GET • 515 questions across 12 states — California, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Washington, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Alabama and Colorado — each checked against that state's current official handbook • An explanation for every answer, with the handbook section behind it • An exam simulator with your state's real length and pass mark • A weak-spot drill built from the questions you missed, grouped by topic • Works offline, so you can practise in the DMV line • No ads, and no account needed EVERYTHING IS FREE Every question, every explanation and unlimited practice exams. There is nothing to unlock. CHECKED, NOT COPIED We verify each answer against the state's handbook and show the date we last checked it. If you think an answer is wrong, tell us from Settings and we will check it against the handbook. YOUR DATA Your progress stays on your device. An account is optional — you can sign in with Apple or email, and delete the account from inside the app at any time. More states are being added over time, each checked against its official handbook. Don't see yours? Request it in the app — the most-requested states come first. PermitPass is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any DMV, department of public safety, state driver licensing agency or any other government agency. Questions are written by us from each state's public driver handbook.
