About
Memorize any speech, script, or lines by saying them out loud. Perora listens as you rehearse and lights up every word you get right, so you know exactly what you've memorized and what still needs work.
Built for presentations, wedding toasts, best-man speeches, auditions, monologues, sermons, pitches, debates, and job interviews.
FOUR WAYS TO LEARN IT
• By Paragraph: learn each paragraph around its key anchor words. Read, recall, then recite.
• By Sentence: recite one sentence at a time. Words fill in green as you say them, and a soft beep warns you when you drop below your accuracy target.
• Full Accuracy: recite the whole script. Every word you skipped turns red when you stop.
• Teleprompter: an auto-scrolling prompter with adjustable speed, text size, and mirror mode.
DIALOGUE MODE FOR INTERVIEWS AND SCENES
Label lines like "Interviewer:" and "Me:" and Perora reads the other parts aloud while you practice only your own lines. Great for interview prep, scene partners, and Q&A.
SEE YOURSELF IMPROVE
• An accuracy score and progress chart for every script
• Focus Words: the words you miss most often
• Pacing in words per minute, plus a filler-word count ("um", "like", "you know")
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Speech recognition can run entirely on your device. Your scripts stay on your iPhone or iPad. No account, no tracking.
MADE FOR REAL PRACTICE
• Paste a script or import a text file
• Optional countdown, hands-free "next", and a live transcript
• Daily practice reminders
• Works in many languages supported by Apple speech recognition
Stop reading off your notes. Know it by heart.

What's New in Perora
1.1
October 25, 2026
• Your last words are no longer dropped when you tap stop. Scoring now waits for the final result. • Skipping a sentence or line while recording no longer marks the next one as missed. • Say "next" to move on hands-free, and turn on a live transcript in Settings. • The screen stays awake while you rehearse or use the teleprompter. • The teleprompter stops at the end and remembers your speed and text size. • Pasting no longer asks for permission each time, and importing handles more file types. • Stability and audio improvements.
