Changing My Perspective--I've become a Convert to This App
In an earlier review, I rated this low, but I at least had the good sense to write at the time that the fault may be that of the operator. Indeed it was. Early this morning, (couldn't sleep at 3 a.m.), I changed from the Whisper model to the more standard Apple one, and wow did my experiences differ. I had transcriptions in mere secnds, and they were super-accurate ones. Please, when you craft detailed documentation for this, let perspective buyers know their choice of transcription model could be a huge factor in determining their success with the app. I love this now, and it's going to be a daily use experience. I'll probably just blow Google Edge Eloquent with its sometime-unlabeled buttons off my machines altogether. Well done and congratulations to the developers for a great product that works well especially if the user actually gives it the ability to perform well by making good end-user choices. Five excellent stars from here.

The trial should keep long transcriptions, so what you’re seeing sounds like a bug rather than an intentional limitation. I’m going to look into it and get that fixed.
