Easy tracker
Another junk app
Also makes claims about data privacy, and yet the first thing I see when I open the app is the dreaded “app is asking to track you” pop up.

Hello Molly, Thank you for the honest feedback. I'm sorry the app wasted your time. Here's where things stand: The crash on launch — I can see that we had 2 crashes in the past 3 months, I tracked down a potential bug that could cause crashes and fixed it in the latest update. On usability, I tried to make the app pretty simple and straightforward, I'm curious to what would have made the app difficult for you to use. In the next update I will be including proper support for larger text sizes. And on the privacy point — that "asking to track you" prompt came from an analytics tool that showed metrics such as how many people were installing the app. It was never collecting or selling your personal information. But you're completely right that it contradicted the privacy promise and had no place in a pet nutrition app. I've removed that tool entirely — there's no tracking prompt anymore, and no third-party tracking at all. I build this on my own, and blunt feedback like yours is how it gets better. If you're ever willing to give the update a try I'd love to know if it holds up — and if anything's still off, you can reach me directly at Support@petainutritiontracker.com
Not as expected

Hi CNM K, Thank you so much for taking the time to share this detailed feedback—it's incredibly valuable to us. I'm truly sorry the app hasn't met your expectations, especially with the features that drew you in. You're absolutely right to be frustrated, and I want you to know we're actively working on these exact issues: 🔍 Barcode Scanner: We're rebuilding this from the ground up to improve accuracy and reliability. This is our top priority. 🥘 Food Search: Expanding our database with more detailed nutritional data and pet-specific foods is in active development. 📋 Template Sharing: You've identified a critical missing feature—we're adding cross-pet template sharing in our next update. Your subscription matters to us. Please email us directly at Support@petainutritiontracker.com so we can: 1. Understand exactly which foods/barcodes aren't working 2. Make this right for you We built this app for pet parents like you, and we won't rest until it delivers on its promise. Thank you for giving us the chance to improve. Founder, Pet AI Update May 20th: Hi CNM K — thanks for the detailed feedback, it directly drove this update. We rebuilt the barcode scanner end-to-end (new permission handling, auto-detect, scanner timeouts), added hundreds of pet food UPCs to the database with brand-specific nutrition values, and the AI estimator no longer falls back to identical generic values for every product. We also added the missing feature you called out — meal templates can now be shared across all your pets via a new "Shared Library" section, or duplicated to a specific pet. And if a bag still isn't recognized, you can now identify it by photographing the Guaranteed Analysis label. We'd love a second look when you have a moment.
