The positive review has to be fake. This door does not work. The app does not work. We've had it one week and it never worked. We have to manually push the button to open and close the door each time since the timer keeps resetting to zero. The manually button does not even work every time you have to push it multiple times. I'm returning it.

I don’t understand if the door is closed or open ? There is already lights on the door why not stays on (green) and closed (red) this should be on the application as well!!!

Worked, kinda, for about a week then couldn’t connect to bluetooth. Works with the remote but not on Bluetooth so what good is it? I could just open the door if I have to come out to the chicken coop to use the remote. Save your money and find a good one and if you do find a good one, let me know what it is.

Simple and effective
I’ve used the chicken door for one day now and am surprised how well it works. I almost didn’t get the app because of how negative all the reviews were but when I looked at the specs I saw no reason not to try it. Everyone who says they “couldn’t find it useful” must either be fish or robots. I will review and update if I have any issues later on thnx

It’s never connected
It takes forever to get it connected to the app. Super frustrating.
Doesn’t work
Bad doesn’t work opens and closes randomly. Mainly closes randomly. Bought chicks almost killed on and close in middle of day for no reason

Im sorry you bought this door. I have been having issues just after the time allotted to return the item. It closes at random times. The app doesn’t work now, and a-lot of times it doesn’t open at the set time. It is also now having issues with the sensor that would detect an obstruction.

Connected then not connected
Unboxed and installed easily. Had some issues connecting at first but it finally worked! Was fine for about a month then it stopped running the schedule and has not connected to the app since. Can not recommend if it doesn’t work. Sorry not sorry.
Rediscover
It’s not a review but I had an issue of it rediscovering and not working. I pushed down both buttons on back of solar panel and had my iPhone search for it. Then it was able to sync and work again. Hope this helps.
App stopped working
Purchased in June 2024 and the app no longer works. My chickens were trapped in the coop for most of the day before I realized. The Bluetooth connection provided no longer comes up as a choice. Do better!
Don’t buy this device
Absolutely horrible app that refuses to connect and work with the device. It worked OK the first day and then nothing afterwards.

This is junk I am on my Third door it keeps getting jammed and it is always losing connection I would not recommend buying this get your self a better one
App worked for a week
Set up and install was fine, worked great for about a week. Now it won’t find the device on Bluetooth so the app is worthless.
Resets when you close app
Door opens and shuts randomly. Doesn’t matter if you set the door to open or close at a certain time, once you close out of the app, everything is reset. Since it resets, every night it opens at midnight. Completely pointless.
