Thirteen points wins. Carreau counts them the way the game is actually played — and it is readable from the other end of the terrain. TWO RAILS OF BOULES Each team has a row of thirteen. As points land, the circles fill with polished steel, so anyone glancing over knows the score without reading a number. The leading team is marked in cochonnet yellow. SCORING THAT CANNOT GO WRONG Only one team scores per end, one point for every boule closer than the opponent's best — the rule beginners always get tangled in. Carreau asks who holds the point, then how many, and refuses anything the rules do not allow. Undo is always one tap.
