This app feels incomplete.

You would expect to be able to make edits to date/time/numbers if you notice you made a mistake, and look at a full week or months curve progression, or to be able to add notes about diet or exercise changes for the day or for anything unusual from your daily routine. After all these can potentially alter the well-being of a diabetic pet by throwing them off their condition management. If these are available I haven’t been able to find them.
It would also be useful if you could search for your last all-day curve in order to compare. This app *could* have been very useful since it’s specifically for pets and not humans, and works with Alphatrak (doesn’t sync) but it lacks features and makes it hard to see the big picture. You can’t even specifically look up just your feeding schedule or just your insulin time schedule or anything of the sort. I ended up having to download additional apps and keep a notebook to fill the gap.

Useless

Another app just to collect personal data, deleted after 5 min.

What’s the point.

Website says have to get app to register my Alphatrak 2 but won’t let me create an account. Very unhappy with this company so far, websites don’t work, device won’t work and no customer support except Monday thru Friday. I’ll be calling vet on Monday to ask what other glucometer she recommends.

Needs a lot of work!

This app needs sooooo much work. I got it cuz my dog was just diagnosed with diabetes and cuz AlphaTrak suggested it. I was able to record one glucose curve with it then the next day we had her Vet appointment and there’s no way to bring it back up on the chart. Today I go to record her feeding and insulin shot as well as her bg readings and the app won’t even open. Says “Oops!!!! Something went wrong” It would be a great app if it was designed for a diabetic dog and everything that comes along with diabetes in a canine/cat. Going back to pen and paper because that never fails me!

Needs more visualization options

A 14 day, 30 day, and 90 day option to view BG levels and insulin dosing, in addition to the current options, would be helpful.

Pointless

Has no option to record your glucose readings manually or at all, at least it has an option to record if you hugged your dog though because that’s more important than tracking glucose levels for a diabetic dog....... considering returning the AlphaTRAK meter based on the company prompting such a pointless and misleading app I’m not very confident in their ability to make a quality product

Very disappointed

I found this out by following a bunch of links trying to figure out how to get the information from my pet’s glucose meter to automatically record somewhere. This promised to be the app to do it. There’s even a section in the app to record this information. The only thing it does not do, is transfer the information. And there isn’t even a way to enter it manually. For my purposes, it is completely useless.

Has Potential!!!!

I like that I can edit and add glucose numbers.... I don’t like that if you fat fingered something and messed up numbers there is not a way to edit food or insulin dose. Other than that no issues so far!!!

Can’t set up an account

Used the Facebook option but it wants to know my vet name and zip. Entered and it just says “oops, something went wrong”.

Jury is out

Installed app based on Alphatrak recommendations. Difficult to use as you can not easily enter things manually food and meds. The app does not allow you to email logs to vet it says name can not be blank even though a name entered. needs a lot more work

Confused by how it’s promoted ...

I became aware of this app just yesterday. I found it by wanting to register my AlphaTRAK 2 (a pet glucose tracker. My dog was just diagnosed with diabetes). The AlphaTRAK 2 company suggested downloading this app. Though there are a lot of useful things to track, I’m really confused how an app being promoted by a company that aids in diabetes, doesn’t have an option in the “record an activity” section for administering medications. Yes, there’s a section for medication reminders, but it only works if you administer your medication daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. When you need to be more specific, like you do with insulin shots, there’s no where to document this in the app. That’s a shame and so confusing since the app is being promoted by a glucose testing company.

I just noticed the app pictured here does have an added feature for the AlphaTRAK 2.... but I don’t have this feature on my app?

Fantastic App

Superb app! Making vet appointments and regular treatments easy to remember as well as allowing you to record feeding, exercise and even quality time with your animal so you can see any trends forming in their health! Definitely recommend!
