About
Pettome Flow guides you through every step of configuring a new home's electrical panel layout. From initial sketch to final installation, the app keeps your design, equipment selections, site logistics, and team coordination in one place. Whether you're laying out panels, matching them to inverters, scheduling site visits, or coordinating with shop staff and drivers, Pettome Flow eliminates friction between planning and execution, letting you move faster and make fewer mistakes.
The workflow starts with House Setup, where you establish your project parameters. You then move to Wall Ribbon, the canvas where you design your band—drawing the physical layout, marking shaded bays that won't receive full sun, and flagging surfaces requiring special handling. As you design, you explore how the band behaves under different weather conditions, refining your approach before material is ordered. The app validates everything through stringMetrics, ensuring your configuration is sound before proceeding.
The Inverter section connects your design to the right equipment. You shop for inverters, review their specifications, and confirm your selected inverter can handle your configured strings. Once matched, you select which kit to use and the fitString capability validates that every element aligns with your layout and equipment. The app catches conflicts early so cutting and loading proceeds smoothly.
The Strings section walks you through final verification. You check the strings one more time against your design, ensure they match your chosen run, and use fitString validation to confirm every connection is correct. This verification step prevents surprises during installation.
Logistics manages your operational coordination. You schedule and hold measuring visit slots, picking the morning, day, and time window that works for your crew. You assign who's coming and note anything they should know. The app tracks which visits are on the book, which are closed, and which are also on the way, keeping your team aligned as plans shift. When measuring visits are scheduled, the Runs section shows your run sheet with material requirements calculated by runTotals and surfaceOf capabilities.
Measuring visits generate Paperwork—site records that travel with your crew. You see what's on the road for each visit, review paperwork for each slip, and coordinate driver rings ahead through the message desk function. If something doesn't align, you can ask the shop for support. Your run shelf keeps everything organized and accessible.
You can reset your project data at any time, either preserving your existing data or starting fresh, giving you the flexibility to iterate without losing work.
Pettome Flow is built for movers, installers, and coordinators who need their panel setup to work the first time. Whether you're configuring one home or managing multiple simultaneous jobs, the app transforms a fragmented workflow into a single coherent path.
Get your layout right, match it to the right equipment, schedule your visits, and execute with confidence.
