So far I am loving this golf game!!!
Sad but true
I have not played this app in probably four weeks now. Why? You might say. Well, I was getting so frustrated with all of the BS and bias in the background it was NOT fun any longer. Before, I was playing virtually every day, was the CoCaptain of my Clubhouse and consistently the #1 player on our Clubhouse roster.
Things like putting a ball on the green, it slowly rolling toward the hole and then all of a sudden the ball makes a radical 90 degree turn a flies off the green out of bounds or into the water hazard. That kind of thing happened invariably when it was a higher ranked player that I was out scoring. This is only one of many examples of bias toward players that were buying advantage in the form of clubs, etc.
I complained to the developers numerous times about similar occurrences and would always got these pat company line responses that said basically we could give a #$&@ about your concerns.
Their rep actually once said to me “We are not cheating!” Without me ever saying that they were. But let me explain something to everyone. I grew up believing that if someone paid money to gain advantage over a competitor that was cheating. IN IT’S PUREST FORM!!
I realize that’s their business model. Still doesn’t make it not cheating. The algorithms are so slanted and biased however that it makes it NO FUN. Ostensibly the reason that we play these games. Well, they are losing darn good regular players like me!

Great game honest review
It’s a great game, I’ve sunk a lot of time into it. I like the variety of things to do and it keeps you interested.
The game has a couple of let downs, but no game is perfect. I find some clubs are outright useless, Mimic seems to serve no real purpose that I’ve been able to find yet.
Playing tournaments and seeing people who are hitting multiple HIO’s and taking out first place seems impossible to match.

Good game,great rewards,& great clubs.
Frustrated
This game was awesome when I first started playing but now it’s all about the money and spending they started reducing gifts and free stuff with every new update and now the latest update has my game glitching and I can no longer putt because the accuracy par seems to have some sort of twitch, use to putt great but now it just keeps jumping .

Game is great fun to play minimal adds. But only thing I don’t like is challenges will say win a ruby pack and when I complete it I get a silver pack. Seems like false advertisement. Why does that happen?
Glitches
The game is great but not all shots are accurate, game tends to glitch out when hitting the ball and freezes in the air or extends the path further than where you hit. After level 6 going into level 7 for upgrading clubs will juice your pockets if you want to advance faster, I think it should ease up a bit when it comes to that, and maybe add more legendary clubs. Other from that its a good game.

Ties? Really, ties?
The most recent update now allows for ties and does not award a point to either player. This change needs to rolled back because it takes away from the game itself.

Fun game, ads are unbearable
The game is undoubtedly fun. But the ads are keeping me from playing it. Not only are they unbearably long, but they seem to be broken more often than not and never go away. Hard to justify wasting so much of my supposed fun time on this.

No stress game and being able to get better balls and clubs is a plus !

Long Term Player
Many 5 star reviews, must be new players, like all app games, you start out good, but then as you get into the upper levels, it is a whole lot different, developers feel you need to be challenged, to the point that you wonder why your still playing, it is probably due to the fact that the add’s only play when you want too watch them to get the coin and gold bars to improve your clubs, or you will have to spend real money to do that, believe me you get very little for free and then they like to take away things you were getting by playing, like 10 gold bars for a albatross, Then they like you to believe you are getting better by what they replaced it with, more rewards at the end of the month, does not equal out. Thank you

Been engaging with this app for a while. Does get a bit repetitive huh ? New 18 holes would be good and the greens are so boring, can would make them more interesting and challenging..
