Terrible App, Terrible Service

App is broken, service is a rort. My advice for anyone who is considering using Phenix despite all the red flags; look elsewhere. I paid for an appointment, showed up using the link in my email, nobody showed. Emailed for a refund, no response.

Worst healthcare experience to date

I have been extraordinarily disappointed in this company. For a company who’s model revolves around care, my experience has been anything but.

This is not a video call service in my experience. The app is exceptionally poor and I was told that video call was not available. I strongly recommend you avoid using this service.

I created a booking via HealthEngine, which clearly advertises video call appointments. After figuring out how to download the app (the email provides no instructions) and using the extremely poor interface to set up an account, I waited for a video call to be initiated. 6 minutes after, I reached out to support, who told me that the doctor was trying to reach me via phone. I asked if there was a video call option and the one line email response I received was,

“It’s a phone call”

Not other offer on how we could problem solve.

Completely different from what was advertised and with very little further help on how we could resolve this issue (I never received a phone call). It’s four months later and I am still in the process of asking for a refund - Phenix Health simply stopped responding. I understand how this could be a valuable service, but the utterly inadequate execution of this has ruined the value it could provide. In my opinion, avoid using at all costs. Perhaps their doctors are genuine (wouldn’t know), but they’re service is anything but.
