Almost there
The Cons:
1) The sleep tracking doesn’t allow you press to see exact times they actually fell asleep or when they woke. The chart looks great, the UI just prevents you from actually acting on the data and looking at it. Which defeats the purpose of paying extra for the feature. Want to look at tonight’s times, impossible as it only shows you a small snapshot and doesn’t allow you to see times again. If these fixes are added and the UI gives you more visualization of the data over time easily, it converts this to a 5 star app and product.
2) No setting to turn off power light. Every other monitor seems to have a way to turn off the power light so baby doesn’t get distracted.
3) No way to see past video. Probably a hardware limitation, but every other monitor at this price point gives you history. Disappointing this one doesn’t. You basically miss baby firsts, because there is no look back period. If they just let me put in a microsd card this would have been fixed.
The Pros:
1) Stable. Works well and seems to be a competent engineering team adding features
2) Breath monitoring and AI status show nicely and easily show what’s going on which is pretty awesome.
This is the first week we’re trying this monitor so will update soon. Crossing my fingers for anything they’re able to fix in the cons

Replacement for the Base ?
The base of my unit is no longer useable. Can you advise how I might replace it ? I still use the camera using my iPhone to monitor my daughter who is on life support. Please advise. This is your camera that took this picture.
New Update Broke Features
The newest update added background noise, which is fine, but it broke other features that were much more useful.
1. While using my phone as a monitor, the screen now turns off after my prescribed amount of automatic lock time. Why would I want that? Similar to how I’d want a YouTube video to turn off after a minute…
2. The muted noise bars that were on the PiP mode are now gone. Why?
3. If I have the app on mute and I moved back to it on the previous version it would keep playing my podcast, now the app defaults back to un-muted and my podcast pauses.
What was the thought process in making these changes?

Recent update not installing on phone
Recent update won’t install on my iOS. I have latest iOS and it will download, install, and then says that the app needs to be updated again…
Ridiculous wifi requirements
Completely unusable as insists on creating a new lower grade wifi to work. Will be returning to store. Fuming 🤬
App is buggy and some features require subscription 50/100
The baby monitor is great overall, but the app sometimes stops working and needs to be restarted. The device is not exactly cheap, so charging a subscription for “AI” cry detection and video highlights feels ridiculous.
The breathing monitor is almost useless, because it does not work reliably and does not provide a clear alert confirming whether the baby is actually breathing.

Latest update catastrophic
What is going on with latest update ? Used to work at distance with 5G or anything. Now only works when youre at home locally.

I wish there was a way to use Celsius in the app. Despite having the physical baby monitor receiver in Celsius, the app still shows Fahrenheit and there is no way to change that.
Barely gets the job done
Desperately in need of an update. It doesn’t interface with Apple’s Focus, nor does it allow you to snooze notifications. If you’re in the same room, be prepared for your phone to drive you insane with constant notifications. Only option is to completely turn them off, which defeats the purpose. Do what Ring does and allow for 30, 60, 180 minute snooze options.

Absolutely infuriating, leading to notification fatigue. I was a huge fan of this compared to the competition but now am unable to recommend to others.
Philips: allow customization of notifications - just look at how other apps have already solved this - no need to reinvent the wheel.

Aplikacja działa ok, jednak brakuje w niej szczegółowych danych, tzn konkretnie o których godzinach występowały pobudki i ile czasu trwały. W aplikacji są one przedstawione na wykresie który jest bardzo nieczytelny. Mam nadzieję, że w kolejnych aktualizacjach zostanie to uzupełnione.

Die Babyohone App von Philips ist wirklich zuverlässig k d funktioniert stabil auch außerhalb des Hauses. Einzug ärgerlich ist die Darstellung im Querformat und besonders auf da besonders auf dem iPad. Der Wechsel zwischen zwei Kameras ist nur möglich wenn man es wieder dreht. Für uns ärgerlich, da das iPad fest an der wand verbaut ist und der Wechsel Kur durch Neustart möglich ist. Wenn man dieses noch nachbessert wird es die volle Punktzahl geben. Macht aber sonst mit einer Kamera wirklich was es soll. Musikfunktionalität oder das Sprechen über die Kamera aus der Ferne zu steuern ist wirklich top.

Leider nichts für Reisen
Wir haben das Babyphone vor allem für Reisen gekauft um uns in Hotels etc. über das WLAN zu verbinden und damit ein wenig mehr Freiheiten, wie Pool- oder Barbesuche nutzen zu können. Leider ist es hierzu komplett ungeeignet. Da die meisten Hotels ein LogIn haben oder zumindest eine AGB Bestätigung erfordern, kann das Philips damit nicht umgehen. Offene WLAN funktionieren auch nicht.
Daheim geht alles gut und die App an sich wäre gut, aber wie gesagt, für den Einsatz in Hotels ungeeignet.

Why is this thing so convoluted? Not allowing to paste WiFi passwords is purely demonic.

Dernière MAJ très bugé qui empêche la visualisation en paysage et freeze incessamment, en plus de saccade et déconnexion intempestive rendant l’appli inutile (iPhone 17 pro)
Vraiment nulle
Je parle pas du produit qui est correct mais l’application est vraiment NULLE : problème de traduction français/anglais, elle demande la connection au wifi en polonais, impossible de partager sa connection locale, on ne peut pas copier coller le mot de passe du wifi pour se connecter, le mot de passe est supprimé si on change d’app, ça prend 10 minutes pour se connecter au lieu des 1 à 2 minutes et si on a le malheur de changer de page ou d’avoir une notification, il faut tout recommencer

Mit Updates ganz gut geworden
Die App ist seit dem Update mit dem ungeschützten WLAN endlich auch auf Reisen und in Hotels nutzbar. Die Kinder schlafen und wir können an der Bar den Abend genießen. Etwas unpassend noch die automatischen Updates der Kamera. Diese starten beim einschalten, wenn erforderlich, logisch. Aber man sollte es unterbrechen können, da man meist die Kamera nur einschaltet wenn auch das Kind schläft. Da braucht man dann kein Update und möchte es später nachholen. Ebenso eine Version für den AppleTV wäre fantastisch.
