Worst dictation module I’ve ever used
Speech Live is awful. If you back up and re-record to fix a mistake or to word a sentence better, it leaves an echo of the earlier transcription. This makes it impossible for the transcriber to create a clean work product. I’ve used a ton of different dictation programs (and even mini-tapes back in the day). None of them have this issue. This is a disqualifying flaw. Not sure why anyone would ever want to use this app.

Disappointed
I’ve used this for over a year and when it works it’s OK. This week however there was fatal crash and I have lost hours of work. Phillips appear to regard this as to be expected which is not mentioned when they promote the product. Reliability is critically important but absent from this product.
Very glitchy
The last few updates have made the app slower and more glitchy. It struggles to send over 4G despite good reception. Frequent errors coming up.

Weiterhin kein akustisches Feedback oder Vibration, sobald das Diktat gestartet/ gestoppt wird. Zudem ist nicht erkennbar, ob die Diktate bereits fertiggestellt wurden oder sich noch im Eingang befinden. Der Ordner „fertiggestellt“ bleibt stets leer.

Crashes on Startup
On iOS 15.4.1 with iPhone 13 Pro Max, immediate crash upon startup with a freshly rebooted phone. Nowhere to seek help online. Just terrible.

L’ancienne application était beaucoup mieux. Depuis la mise à jour avec cette nouvelle application il est très difficile de créer ses listes de travail. On a beaucoup de mal à revenir pour corriger Et pour envoyer le flux c’est beaucoup moins didactique que dans l’autre application.
La sauvegarde des dictes précédentes !!!!
L’application utilisée avant la mise à jour (Dictée au lieu de l’application Speach Live) était parfait. Malheureusement elle n’est plus utilisable et remplacée par celle ci qui a perdu le gros avantage de conserver les fichiers de dictées précédentes. Il faut absolument permettre de conserver les fichiers sur le smartphone (en cas de bug, d’erreur etc…)

Sleepy App
Used to be better in the old version! Now it goes to sleep while I am dictating. Screen is black but dictation is being taken. Very annoying - please find a fix for this to keep the app awake.

If you have other questions or issues, you can always go to Settings -> Help, where our user documentation team maintains an extensive guide for how to use and customize the SpeechLive app. We take user feedback seriously and will continue to add requested features with every new release.
Does what it says on the tin
Allows me to records notes and dictations that previously I would only do in the office. The flexibility of completing these tasks on ‘the fly’ streamlines a number of my processes.

As a professional I have used the Philips voice recorder app for years. It wasn’t the cheapest but it works and is easy for my PA to pick up the dictations and type. They have now forced all users of that app to move to Speech Live…and it is possibly the worst app I have ever had the misfortune to use. Full of bugs and errors and utterly user unfriendly. Using it costs me more of my time than if I typed out the letters myself. I am cancelling the subscription.
