Battery drains so much
Please please please fix the battery draining issue on the iPad app. I love Philo as a service and I would love to watch more but it drains my battery like crazy and the iPad gets VERY HOT which cannot be good for the device’s longevity. Please fix it!

Trying to watch a movie and it turned from 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes!! 5 minute ad breaks all over! Terrible!
Too expensive
I am paying $30 per month for commercials! Why? I am canceling and watching for free with the Xfinity app with commercials. At least it is free.

Great steaming service
I think Philo o Is a great streaming site. Love the channel line up. I really think it’s worth the money. Not only can u record u get hbo,discovery and amc+. If u added all these services together,it still be a good deal. Had this service for over 2 years and love it.

I am so excited about Philo! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. What a perfect lineup. I couldn’t ask for anything better. The layout is simple, and easy to understand. It doesn’t get much better than that. Thanks guys! I hope you got an A+ on that college project! Lol.
No longer able to remove stuff from continue watching??
Why on earth have you taken away the ability to remove titles from continue watching?? The three dots are now gone from the iPhone app and every time I long press on a title, it plays with NO WAY to delete it from continue watching. Please fix!!!
Worst Streaming Service Availible
I’m sick to my stomach that I didn’t cancel this horrible, expensive, and unnavigable streaming service before my free trial ended. I’ve never had a free trial that has given me the certainty that a service was not worth it prior to falling for Philo’s 7-day free trial. The amount of ads which assail you, even (and especially) on on-demand viewings, is inexcusable, especially for a service which starts at $25 a month ($300/year). Use literally any other streaming service or cable provider - I can’t think of one I’d prefer to use less than Philo. There is not one feature which comes to mind that would justify Philo’s existence, or its price-tag, and I would leave 0 stars if I could.

The adds for the app claim that it’s a free movie app witch it’s not. Can’t even delete your account once you made it until you pay for a subscription. Like wtf.

I understand there have to be commercials, but when the commercials occur every 10-15 minutes at times and the commercials are 4-5 minutes, or even longer how can one enjoy the show they want to watch.

On my tv it lags badly, but on my phone it don’t lag it just over heats my iPhone. Is there a way to fix or not. If there is a way I will give 5 stars but until than it will be a 2 cause I can’t not watch on tv without it lagging and it loading.

Ridiculous Amount Of ADS
Your app keeps pestering me for a review so here you go! The ridiculous amount of ads that you have to endure on this app, for the amount of money I’m paying it’s absurd and makes me want to cancel the service. Do better for $35 a dang on month!!
Buffering
Good channel line up for the price. Unfortunately they have a lag that I can’t look over currently being a youtubeTV subscriber. Philo buffers and freezes way too often. I will stick with YTv for now until Philo figures it out.
Returning customer because it is just what we need
We had Philo originally in 2017 or so when it was dirt cheap (still is for what you get). We switched to a competitor at some point a few years later in order to get live channels without having to use an antenna. After several price hikes and paying $83 a month for the competitor, we just returned to Philo and realize just how great it is. The price is great, you can switch to a different channel and watch from the beginning (with the competitor, when you hit record, you only record from that point on). The interface isn’t cluttered and despite 720p, the picture is clearer because of a stable bitrate. Love it!
