The newly developed PhiloWelt app takes your lessons to a whole new level! Whether in ethics, philosophy, or values education — the app is designed for students from grades 5 to 10 across all school types. Thanks to dynamic learning materials, every lesson is shaped individually — based on the students' own input. Students join with a room code and explore a topic together in four phases: WARM-UP — An image and an AI-generated audio intro set the mood for the topic. Students type in their first thoughts, which are brought together in real time into one shared guiding question. LEARNING TEXT — Tailored learning texts introduce the question, show why it mattered in the past and still matters today, and present two opposing lines of thought — adapted to school type and grade level. TASKS — Three automatically matched tasks at three levels (recall, explain, evaluate) challenge students to think for themselves. RESULTS — Every answer is assessed — with concrete tips on what to improve. The best answers are celebrated for the class, while all others are shown anonymously — fair and motivating at the same time. On the final attempt, anyone can choose to reveal a model answer. And the best result counts: a new attempt can never lower what has already been achieved. Ideal for cooperative learning and lively classroom discussions.
