Best Game ever
I always played this game as a kid for hours and I just got this game a few days ago, it’s so nostalgic and fun, it’s simple yet difficult, but not impossible, definitely 5 stars!

Even with the release of the sequel, Phoenix II, Phoenix HD continues to stand as a staple for bullet hells for the past, present, and future. Phoenix HD is a classic bullet hell that keeps things simple and does everything right.

So I used to play this game all the time in college back in 2012-2014 and was absolutely obsessed. I just love the game mechanics and the rush of just the simplicity of doing a run. I will say that when I logged back onto the updated version of this OG I didn’t love that you could buy all these boosts and stuff. Inevitably people with high scores are for sure buying lots of boot to get those scores whereas in the old days if it was just raw dog. I used to be like top 10 in my city and knew I was truly going head to head raw dog. Totally fine to keep the boost score board but do it for the OGsssss

Annoying Bug
整体不错，但蜃景号有个很讨厌的bug：使用道具时容易莫名其妙被打断，导致几秒钟无任何攻击，只能挨打。

It so good. You fight different bosses and you gain power ups such as upgrading it and instant heal! You can also get different ships and they do different things. My personal favorite is there on where you can hold your screen and it attack the enemy ship weapon. You can gain coin after you destroy the enemy ships and you can use it to buy a new power up like 40% more power up.

One of the best mobile games I’ve played
I’ve been playing this game for as long as I can remember playing mobile games at all. The gameplay loop is simple but still amazingly fun. The graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is even better (did you know the sfx for your ship’s cannons are all made to sync with the music). Like all bullet hell games it could deliver quite a challenge, especially when you’re piloting the more unconventional ships. It may cost 99p to unlock one out of 7 of them, but the game has got you covered by allowing you to test fly one of ships every day, so if you get bored with the main ship, (still very fun to use) you can still use the others for free. It can’t be considered P2W because all of the ships have completely separate leaderboards (which are all currently free to place yourselves on). And even if you start to get a bit bored anyways, there’s a whole number of interesting achievements you can accomplish. I really recommend this game to anyone who just wants a classic, fun, bullet hell with great visuals and great soundtrack.

Still as good as I remember it being
This game holds a special place in my heart. I remember when I was 8 years old playing this game 10 years ago during long road trips for hours on end. This game has managed to stand the test of time and still be entertaining enough for me to download it again and have me hooked and addicted playing it. Incredible job developers, hope you all are doing well.

Best mobile game of all time
Despite the fact that it will never move to other platforms, this game was the most fun I ever had playing a mobile game or any bullet hell for that matter. The soundtrack is perfect and so are the rest of the ships which I will never regret spending my money on.

Fantastic mobile game even in 2024. Fun and simple to play with surprisingly good graphics and fluid gameplay. Highly recommended. Classic.
Excellent endless runner
One of the best endless runner games I have ever found. Yes I know it is technically a wave based combat, but it’s pretty much an endless runner (metaphorically speaking). It is brutally fair and if you fail, it is your fault. My only gripe is that you have to pay for the ships, but that is forgivable because of the test flights you get once a day.
