Bonjour, merci pour votre retour. Nous sommes désolés que les couleurs générées sur vos anciennes photos ne vous aient pas semblé naturelles. La colorisation par IA peut parfois modifier les tons de manière incorrecte selon la qualité de la photo, le contraste, les détails, l’éclairage et l’état de l’image d’origine. Nous continuons à améliorer le rendu des couleurs afin d’obtenir des résultats plus fidèles et plus naturels.

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry Pholorize blurred the people in your old photo instead of restoring it as expected. Very faded photos can be challenging for AI restoration, especially when faces, contrast, or fine details are already weak, but the result should still look natural and useful. We’ll keep improving restoration quality for older photos. Also, subscriptions can be canceled anytime through your Apple ID settings; canceling stops the next renewal, while access may remain active until the current subscription period ends.

Hallo, danke für den Hinweis. Das Lifetime-Angebot war früher verfügbar und kann in bestimmten Zeiträumen wieder angeboten werden, ist aber aktuell nicht dauerhaft aktiv. Derzeit sind in der App nur Monats- und Jahresabos verfügbar. Es kann sein, dass frühere oder zeitweise verfügbare In-App-Käufe weiterhin in der App-Store-Übersicht erscheinen, auch wenn sie momentan nicht als aktives Angebot in der App angeboten werden. Wir werden weiter daran arbeiten, die verfügbaren Optionen so klar wie möglich darzustellen.
Color was maybe OK, but resolution was 100 times worse!!

Hi, thank you for the feedback. We’re sorry the colorized result lost so much resolution. Pholorize should preserve photo quality as much as possible while colorizing, and we understand how important that is when working with old photo collections. We’ve continued improving export quality, restoration, and processing since then, and we’ll keep working to make colorized results sharper and more faithful to the original photo.

AI colorization and restoration should improve the image without making it feel overprocessed or unnatural. We also understand that users need more control over the final result. Since then, we’ve added more adjustment tools and continued improving colorization, restoration, and export quality. We’ll keep working to make Pholorize more flexible and reliable.

The app is meant to go beyond scanning by using AI colorization, restoration, enhancement, and photo improvement tools, but we understand the results need to show clear value. We’ve continued improving the quality of colorization, restoration, and export since then, and we’ll keep working to make the difference more noticeable and useful.
Would love to give my $35, but can’t test the functions

Hi, thank you for the thoughtful feedback. We agree that users should be able to see what Pholorize can do before deciding. In the current version, if you colorize a single photo instead of using batch processing, you can preview the colorized result after processing. Export and some advanced options may require Pro, but you should be able to view the result first. We’ll keep improving the trial experience and make this clearer inside the app.

La colorisation par IA peut parfois mal interpréter certaines parties d’une ancienne photo selon l’éclairage, le contraste, les ombres ou l’état de l’image originale. Nous continuons à améliorer la détection des tons de peau et le rendu des couleurs afin d’obtenir des résultats plus naturels et cohérents.
