Great film simulations

An excellent, and focused, film simulations app. It’s come a long way since the first version I tried.

Fast support

The developer is very quick to answer questions

Like having an analog camera on your phone, plus optimized album organization

The analog-style filters are incredibly accurate and give photos a beautiful, authentic film-camera look. I also love how easy it is to save and organize images with tags, it feels much more convenient and intuitive than the standard photo app. Everything works quickly, and the app is simple to understand and navigate. Such a fun and well-designed app!

“Yung Chomsky? The photo app developer?”

This app really does a great job at what it promises it says it will do. Good on you producer Yung Chomsky!

Great photo app

Does an excellent job bringing out the best in phone photos & has an easy to use layout. Also really nice that it's not a data-scraping or geared-toward-pay app from some big company, the creator is a skilled & knowledgeable street photography whose work is worth looking up. Clearly a product of care!

i love this app shout out

the best out there

I shoot and develop my own film and this is the only app I have found to nail the texture, exposure, and highlights/shadows with very real film qualities.

Yknow

One of the best to ever do it.

No FOMO, get Phomo.

I’ve downloaded so many photo apps, and this is one of the best. It’s super easy to use if you want quick results, but there’s enough control if you like tweaking. The filters look like real film. I’ve tricked some of my snobby film friends. I like it so much that I paid for the full version, something I never do. Plus, the name is funny.

Nice!

Great film simulations, textures etc. Lots of fun to play around with, and much better value for money than a lot of these kind of apps on the market. I look forward to more updates!

Hands down the best photo app

Unreal levels of control and no bs yearly cost. $30 and yours forever? Yes please!

Run, Don’t Walk

Wonderful app. One time purchase price is great.

“One-Stop” creative photography tool

A lot of great ideas, highly functional and thoughtfully executed. I appreciate how effectively the app combines several powerful photography tools.

If I were to provide any feedback, I’d say that the tools and options, while powerful, can become overwhelming. Once you get the hang of it, it’s straightforward, but I wonder if the developer could borrow ideas from larger photography platforms to simplify the experience?

Excellent work!!

Response from developer

Thanks for using phomo and for leaving thoughtful feedback! Look out for an update coming soon that should make the experience more intuitive.

What the iphone Camera should be!

Great new camera app that is so rich with really useful features (calendar organization, great film sims, gif slideshows, custom backgrounds) and it’s being updated by the developer very regularly. No brainer.

Cannot Get Past White Screen

I really want to try the app, looks promising. But every time I allow it full access to my photo library and camera, it wants to proceed but ends up being a blank white screen. Uninstalled multiple times to try and fix but so far no fix?

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for trying phomo and sorry to hear you’re having trouble! I’d be happy to investigate this — please email phomofeedback@gmail.com.

Great photo organization app!
