This App Stole $43.86 after offering their Lifetime Sun for Free

Don’t trust this app! I downloaded and filled out the on boarding “Free” lifetime subscription pure their offer on AppAdvice on 8/25/24. Immediately after choosing their “free” offer, my account was hit for $43.86! I would have never downloaded this app had I have known they were so deceptive & low down as to hustle a disabled, older person. I’m posting on every social media account I have with my 100m followers of the theft that this app performed. So very wrong.

In app purchases misleading

It shown zero quid for lifetime but cannot find have a promo code line! What a scam.

I have lifetime version with the promo code The app keep directing me to in app purchase Looks kind of bugs , developer responded to my review , and suggested to restore purchase , app working fine without any update , i will put 2 stars plus one more due to offer , app need to be more mature
Can not differentiate between similar screen shots .

Shady developer

Offers a “promo” for lifetime access to features but this circumvents giving it through the App Store which would allow you to restore your purchase. Once the promo is gone, you can’t use the code again and you’re stuck having to pay for access. This simultaneously gets people to leave glowing reviews and it boosts the visibility of the app due to a high number of downloads and good reviews from people that temporarily got access for free.

Response to developer’s response. If you use the promo code and then delete the app, you can’t restore the “purchase” because Apple’s servers never logged it as one (because it wasn’t).

TL;DR: I’m right and this dev is not to be trusted.

Sorry. My mistake

So I initially gave this app 1 star because I thought I had to pay for a subscription after I downloaded the app with a free lifetime subscription. Well I closed the app and reopened it and found my lifetime subscription and did not have to pay. I sincerely apologize for the bad review. It is actually good app that does save you time. Thank you very much for the opportunity to get this app for free.

Attention users - potential fraud/scam

⚠️ Potential fraud/scam! The developers have advertised a free lifetime subscription during onboarding which went through as such when selected. However hours later they charged and took $49.99 via Apple Pay for the same lifetime subscription that was advertised and activated as free lifetime on top of the “free” lifetime selection ! Recommended to check your receipts! ⚡️
