I’d like to give this a higher review, props to not making every feature paywall locked. But unfortunately the widgets do not update at all (and if so, with very major delays) which was the main reason I got this app. I guess the app itself does seem to read the temperature correctly though. Minor improvements count, and I’ll happily update my review if I see this bug fixed!

Deceptive and scummy

The way this joker tries to trick you into subscribing is one of the most shameful uses of dark patterns. Don’t support this developer. Don’t download this rubbish.

Every plan's price and terms are shown clearly before you buy anything, the paywall has a close button so you can skip it, billing is handled securely by Apple, and you can cancel anytime from your App Store settings. The core features are usable without paying. If something specific felt misleading, I genuinely want to know so I can improve it, just reach out through Contact Us in the app settings. I hope you have a 5-star experience, and thanks for helping me make the app better.

After that, Phone Temperature shows your live device temperature, thermal state, and battery health, plus tips to keep your phone cool and prevent overheating. You can even keep an eye on your live temperature right from the Dynamic Island. It sounds like you left before reaching the main screen. Give it another try and you'll see the full features.
